Utv tracks on atv?

Hi. Looking for advice. I have a '06, 500HO Sportsman 4 wheeler. I live in northern Ontario and we usually get a fair bit of snow. I have a chance to buy a set of Tatou UTV 4S tracks. They are completely rebuilt and ready to go. Used but new condition.
What problems, if any, might I run into. $1800 is all he wants for them.

99 Sport 400L money pit

Hi all.. new member here. I have inherited 4 busted up atv through my fiance's late husband and kids. They thoroughly beat the crap out of two brand new Kawi KFX90 which I finally got running well, a 99 Scrambler 400L 4x4 which I've not seen run in 4 years, and today's reason for posting... A 98 Sport 400L 4x2. The pair of 400s came here third hand from someone who fancied himself as a mechanic. Aka, he rigged the hell out of them for more "speed", and royally screwed them up. The sport has sat for the last 4 years, but showed the most promise so I began fixing and replacing from the battery and so on. I work at a lawn and power equipment shop, but we don't specialize in quads, so this has us stumped. To date, we have replaced the battery, starter and solenoid, key switch, carburetor, drained and flushed the oil and fuel tanks, all filters, new fuel line, new piston and rings because of severe blow by and scoring. Cylinder walls were solid. All new gasket set. Connecting rod, crank and seals were in great shape. Bled the coolant to get air out of the system. Put all back together, and she fires right away. Idles incredibly well. Problem is now it won't move forward or back. So off comes the clutch cover. Replaced the belt, that helped a little.. as in it at least lurched a bit when hitting throttle. But for whatever reason, giving it any throttle makes it fall flat on it's face. Usually backfires, and my little kawis rev up higher and better than this thing. We've tried tuning this carb 90 ways from Sunday and just not luck. With basically rebuilding this entire machine, I'm hitting a wall and can't figure it out. Any suggestions? Thanks, and sorry for the long story, but I felt all the detail was necessary.

New parts, good idle, falls on it’s face

Received broken x3 max rs

2 weeks ago I purchased an 2019 X3 Max Rs. After it was unloaded from the delivery truck I ran around the block and the check engine light came on and went into Limp mode. The driver came back and returned it to get repaired. Was told that it shiped with grease on the plugs and I was guaranteed that is all that was wrong. The unit was dropped back off and I was able to go 25 miles before the same issue reappeared, engine light and limp mode. Honestly I have lost all faith in this unit and want a replacement since I have never had a running machine. Any thoughts.. Thanks for any help I can get.

14 Sportsman 550 EPS won’t start

New to the forum and new to atv's. I bought my son's 2014 Sportsman 550 eps from him and it died with him the 3rd time he rode it. He bought it second hand sight unseen. He was going thru a mud bog and it just lost power and died. He was towed to the truck and it hasn't ran since. It has been sitting for a couple of years now and I have just now got around to working on it. The last time he rode it the check engine code flashed on and showed the codes 520230-31 and 520193-7. I downloaded the owners manual and purchased a shop manual. It was set up with a Big Gun exhaust and Big Gun programmer along with 30" silver backs. I charged the battery over the weekend and I'm only getting about 12.4 volts after it finished charging and sitting for a few hours after so I figure a new battery will be the first step. Also he showed me the plug that came out of it and it had a lot of carbon build up and looked like it was running extremely rich. I plan on taking the exhaust and programmer off as well as the snorkel set up and returning it to stock. Just looking for any help on where to start. The bike only has about 200 hours on it so there should't be a whole lot wrong with it. I put the charged battery in it and all I got was a click. The steering worked and I heard the fuel pump kick on but it would not turn over. Just looking for help on getting started in the right direction on getting it back on the trail. Thanks in advance.

03 sportsman 700 clutch kit???

Hi everyone, I'm 60 yrs old and new to wheeling. I have a 2003 sportsman 700 and I was wondering which clutch kit or maybe just a upgraded primary spring you all would recommend for a bit more rpm's/power. Completely stock machine. I'm not really a mud person just trails and some hills. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time
