Dash display for 2016 570L

I need a dash display for my 2016 Outlander 570L. I found a used one (pn 710005087) off of a wrecked 2017 Defender. I have tried to research this to see if it truly works with my machine. I have been told 2 different things from 2 different technicians. 1- it will work fine, plug and play as the dash is truly just a display and no programming etc will be needed. 2- it may not work as the defender Ecu and display need to be synchronized. It might work if the display is programmed for my Outlander and not the defender. (I do not believe the defender issue is true...)
Does anyone have an opinion?

Xp 550 -11 brakes

Hello

I apparently have a small leak somewhere since i've bled all lines several times and still the handle wont grip properly. The pedal aint great either but still better. I accepted the lousy brakes and drove on. When I later checked the fluid it was empty but not for the pedal so now I dont understand how one can be empty. Aint these connected and how do I find the leak?

Battery!?!?!

Hello folks. I've been wracking my head for 2 weeks now and hopefully this may help posting here. I'm sure there's a ton more knowledge here that I have in my own head.

We recently moved from the suburbs to the country. I have 4 acres of my own and another 400 behind the house that is wide open and not posted. I bought a Can AM 800 2up from a good buddy of mine. I know is mechanical abilities and mechanical background and besides the machine only had a few hundred hours on it. This is my very first quad and my son and I have had a lot of fun on it until recently.

The rear tires will need to be replaced secondary to some drying out, no biggie. The battery is original; he never had an issue since it was always kept on a tender. The battery is located in the back of the machine up under everything and is sort of a pain to get to. We've had some very cold weather here in PA so I wanted to hard wire the tender in to the terminals. I figured if I'm going to go thru all this, I may as well replace the battery (ES20L-BS) - off the top of my head. Well, I wasn't sure the difference between a tender and a charger, since the tender has a "charging" light on it. I have it on for a couple days, go outside and turn the key. Lights come on but won't crank, then over the course of about 10 seconds, the lights dimmed out. Ahhh..battery has voltage, but not amperage. Go buy a new charger. 2amp trickle charge for a few days. I hooked it up to the machine this morning and I have absolutely nothing. No lights, nothing. I metered out all the fuses, they're all good. Continuity to ground is good. WTF did I do wrong. It ran fine until I put a new battery in it, which the old battery got turned in for a core.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. My son has a lot of special needs and literally sits and waits for me with all his official riding gear on that a friend gave him. I am mechanically inclined to a degree, but electricity is really not my thing.

Need Opinions

So I took delivery of a New 2019 Sport 1000R with tons of extras a couple weeks ago, from the moment I loaded it on my trailer from the dealer the mechanic as well as myself heard the grinding sound as i put the sport into gear but we thought it was only a one time thing.
Took it home and immediately noticed not only did it grind once in awhile it was extremely hard putting into gear or changing gears as well we heard a huge bang at every little slope.

We only drove it a couple short times and returned it back to the dealer for repair.

The dealer contacted BRP and they suggested cable adjustments and reflushing the tranny and replacing the oil, spoke with the mechanic after it being their a week and he said the tranny is still grinding gears--JUST GREAT!

BRP now suggest it may be that the CVT belt is out of line-has anyone heard of that?

Oh and I forgot to mention the bang is supposedly the the sway bar bushings are bad-How can a new machine have bad bushings?

Ok so I spoke again with the mechanic yesterday and the tranny is still grinding, he stated he did not notice metal material in the flushed oil YIKES

I may never trust this machine with potential future gearing or tranny issues--WHAT would you guys do if you were me?

Thanks,
Dave
