I have a 97 Trailboss 250 that has fuel leaking out of the recoil cover. I rebuilt the carb and don’t think I have a stuck float however I am all out of ideas as to what the heck it’s coming from other then that. Does anyone have any ideas? Other things done not all specifically to the fuel leak. New clear fuel, carb rebuild, new starter, new starter gasket, new fuel filter, air filter, fuel lines,bindix.

Can the bike be driven with shaft removed?

I recently replaced the battery in my atv since the old one was dead and now there are a few things happening:

1. The machine will turn over a few times (very slowly) and then click like its maybe a starter/solenoid issue?

2. The headlights work, along with everything on the dash but when i try to engage my winch it does not work; its like all of the power goes out. as soon as i take my finger off the in/out switch, the electric comes back on.

Its about -2 degrees where i live right now and the machine is garage kept, so could that be effecting other parts of the atv? (Battery was kept inside until i tried starting it again; so i wouldn't think that the issue)

I feel like there are several things that could be wrong so any input would be appreciated!

hey y'all i recently traded for a 2016 sportsman 1000 high lifter that needs a rebuild. long story short the airbox had cracked open getting water in the engine. engine and transmission have been pulled and inspected by a mechanic and mechanic stated the motor needs a motor rebuild assembly (crank piston rods etc) but transmission is fine. now my dilemma is rebuild the stock motor or purchase a remanufactured rzr 1000 long block. will a 1000 long block fit on a sportsman 1000 if so is there anything else i would have to do for fitment?

Hello, I've been reading the forum for the past few months but only now decided to register.

I'm André, portuguese, and I've just bought a 2001 Polaris Scrambler 500 2x4, in rough shape but still a good project.


I've replaced the tie rods, they we're in bad shape and changed all 4 tyres at once.
There's still a "bended" front triangle (or a-arm I suppose) that I also need to replace.
The atv came with a "Renegade" exhaust that has a pretty impressive "roar"... but they made a poor exhaust pipe adjustment, it looks like sh*t and I want to solve it asap.



I have to change the oil (Polaris PS4 or there are other alternatives ?) and oil filter (HIFLO HF303 ?).

What should I do next to ensure a "clean new soul" to my Scrammy ?

Hey guys, I have a 2014 Can Am Outlander 650 Max. Added a rad relocate within the last year, and now my cooling fan is not working....hooked power direct and still never cut in! Bought a new one, plugged it in, let the engine warm up and the new fan will not cut in either. Changed out the relays and still not working....HELP PLEASE!!

Was wondering how many guys with 2018,2019 highlifters have gotten water in there belt box? I’m asking this question because I was reading on RZR highlifter forum that a guy said his 2018 RZR highlifter had the clutch backing plate RTV sealed from factory. Is this true?
