On my older 2005 SP 500ho I had to elevate the front end to drain the tranny fluid. On my new 2014 400ho it doesn’t show that you have to do that anymore. Am I reading this book right? Looks like a different setup on the newer model. Thanks

gas getting in oil and low compression
Hello everyone, I have a 2016 sportsman 570 with about 450 miles, since it was new the oil level would seem to rise. until now I've just changed the oil level more often but now it's gotten worse the oil level has gone up considerably in the last about 20 miles, I'm assuming this is because gas is getting past the piston. l did a compression test tonight and it's at 95psi. what would be a likely cause of these two issues? rings? any advice is appreciated! thanks
2004 ATP 500 Instrumentation
The last few hundred miles of riding, the guage would go blank for several hundred yards at a time. More recently, the guage went dead. Ideas?

New ’18 570, Lightbar/Tire Q’s
Hi all,
After having the same '97 Xplorer 500 since I was a kid, sadly she went out to pasture about 3 years ago, I figured it was time to get a new workhorse for our small family farm. I am picking up a '18 570 EPS tomorrow from the dealer. However, I do have a few questions for the community, as I haven't found the answers elsewhere. Maybe I haven't looked enough, or I'm blind, but hopefully ya'll can help me a bit.
I know the stock Carlisle 489s aren't the best tire in the world, but has anyone studded them before? What size studs if so?
Also, when it comes to mounting a light bar without the front bumper, I'm having a tough time picking a mounting location. Looking for ideas or pic's of what others have done.
Any help, tips or advice would be appreciated!! Thanks in advance!

Looking to replace my shocks
Hey guys and girls. I’m fed up with the fox floats on my bike they have to go. Some of you may remember the trouble I had with the back shocks a few months ago. Now the front shocks are seized and it has become so rough that it’s tearing apart my shock mounts. I will be tearing the bike down and re-welding and strengthening them and replacing the shocks. My question is what shocks am I looking for? Will regular outlander shocks work? I’m not going to elka or the like, just way to expensive. If anyone would like to trade me a set of regular shocks for my floats I’m all for that as they are rebuildable. What shocks can I replace them with that don’t cost an arm and a leg?
wheel offset?
I am thinking of putting mags on the front of my 6x6, The rear have factory steels. They have 1'' more offset than the rears. Going from a 6'' to a 7'' wide. Will they look ok? How about handling?
thanks
