LED bulb

Hi everyone! I’m thinking about switching to LED headlight bulbs and I’m looking for some reviews from you all on brands. I have a ‘09 and I think they are H4 bulbs. Do any of you have trouble with the cooling fans on the bulbs getting mudded up? I like Nineo brand on Amazon. They have great reviews.

Sportsman 700 Troubles

My problem is complicated so please bear with me. My 2004 Sportsman 700 was leaking fuel out of the carburetor overflow tube every time the throttle was pressed. There was no tube off the carburetor so it was dripping right onto the engine. Eventually it ignited and caused a small fire that was quickly put out. Once it cooled off, it started right back up and ran fine the rest of the day.

I only had to replace the choke cable after the fire. Everything else seemed fine. Next two times I took it out, it would run fine for 100 yards then it would die out with throttle and backfire. Taking your thumb off the throttle, it would go back to idle without stalling out. I limped along like that for about 20 minutes. Let it sit for about 15 minuets. It started back up and ran fine the rest of the day.

Something else must be damaged, but I don’t know where to start. Any advice appreciated.

Help… Trouble Codes

Hey fellow Defender owners... I have a 2019 Defender HD10XT with about 400 miles on it. Ran perfectly so far... I started it up today and drove it for a few minutes and no noticeable issues. Left it running to warm up a little. As it was idling, it started running rough and died. Had a check engine light on. Now it wont start. It cranks fine and the fuel pump turns on but the engine wont start. I did get it to fire up but it died right away again. Does anyone know how to pull the engine codes? I did a search but couldn’t find anything.

New motor won’t stay running

So I bought a 2016 sportsman 850 highlifter and found out it had a blown up motor. I looked online and everything I read said that 11-16 model years were the same and all parts will work.

I picked up a wrecked 2011 850 and swapped the motor onto my frame. The only thing that wasn’t a direct match was the tps sensor and the intake/throttle body setup. I used the 2011 intake setup for the time being until I get my motor built that came out of my highlifter and had to splice a plug-in on so I could plug the tps sensor in.

The fourwheeler fires right up and will run for about 2 seconds and shut off. It’s almost like the computer is killing the fuel. I’ve tried adjusting the throttle cable, I’ve double and triple checked all my wiring and grounds.

Does anybody know anything else I could try? The motor from the 2011 ran great before we pulled it.

Ignition Shut down issue

Plowing snow-2010 500 HO. Speedo display lights completely up then goes blank-engine dies. Will start back up, but repeats. Is this wet ignition switch? Any way to dry out and protect or just replace?

Shiter trying to get out of reverse

2018 Outlander 850.
300 km on it. Babied.

Was stuck in snow yesterday. When in reverse and overiding it with the button to gun it, the shifter wans shaking and trying to "get out of gear".
Also grinding noise from transmission when doing it.
Tried to reproduce it when on pavement it did not do it.

Rectifire wire colors

Hello; Recently purchased Electrosport reg/ rectifier for 2000 Magnum 325, 1 red , 1 brown , 3 yellow. these colors do not corespond with exhisting colors on harness but will plug in none the less. Rectifier has 3 yellow for stator correct? and does not matter in what order they are to be connected ? good or bad, Thanks in advance

Fair Weather ATV not good in North Dakota

I have a 2009 Outlander 650 Max XT and have owned it since new. When the temp drops below 40 degrees it has to crank over a bunch before it will fire. It refuses to start at all once the temp hits 10 or lower. Once it starts it runs great. It has been like this from the start, I took it to the dealer and they said they could not get it to duplicate what I said was wrong. After a couple times of them not finding a problem I gave up and just dealt with it. I can put my heat gun in front of the air intake and it will fire right up. My brother had the exact same ATV and it would fire right up even at -20 degrees. IS there a sensor that regulates starting according to the ambient temperature? Any help would be greatly appreciated. :grin
