Just saw that the rebates on the 2019 sportsman models are $300 and the financing rates are 3.99% for 36 mos now. Glad I got my 2018 leftover last week.
1996 Magnum 425 Electrical Dead
I'm a new owner and just traded for a 96 Magnum 425 and now have absolutely no electrical. Back story, I pulled it in the garage and dumped the old stinky fuel and replaced part of the fuel lines. I had put a charge on the existing battery and it turned over. Pulled the battery to find out that half the cylinders were dry, added distilled water and put a full charge on it. Reinstalled it and now the electrical system is totally dead. I have 12v on both sides of the solenoid but no lights, starter button doesn't energize the starter. The ignition key seems to do absolutely nothing. I've been looking at the electrical and was wondering if I kicked the circuit breaker coming off the battery. Would this cause the entire electrical system to be dead? I was an electrician in the navy in the 60's so I can read and follow a electrical schematic with no problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Shock pre load setting need help
I’ll start off by saying I know its not good to use somebody else preload due to weight, terrain, riding style etc. But I had to recently purchase a set of shocks because my shocks where damaged my old shocks and my new/used shocks preloads are between 3.5in to 4.5 from shock to nut see attached pics. I was hoping some of you could let me know your measurement so I can use it as a base line I am approx 190lbs and Ill be riding trails and lots of mud thanks for any help
Starts great, but won’t start again?
So recently it got cold here, as it does during winter in Canada, and I’ve been having some issues I’m just looking to see if anyone has had anything similar happen to them. Basically, every time I go outside to start my bike, it starts no problem, however recently after riding for as little as 10 minutes if I shut the machine off, and then go to start it back up again, it only cranks the engine once or twice and very slugggish, it’s like it’s not getting f**k all for power but my battery connections are tight, and it only happens after I’ve already started the bike up, and rode it. It doesn’t matter if I shut it down and try and re start it immediately, or 5 minutes later, it still happens. It feels like hit or miss and it’s getting quite annoying. Also to note i expierenced another issues recently where I was driving the bike, and then once I stopped and was sitting at idle, the idle was varying from 11-00-1400, and bogging, when I hit the gas to go, it bogged out and shut off. Started right back up, but that has happened a couple times also.
New meme bet with a lot of questions
Hey everyone! I’ve had a lot of four wheelers and side by sides my whole life. I just bought a 2016 sportsman 850 high lifter edition off of a guy that took it as a trade for a vehicle he had that didn’t run for cheap. So now we have an 18 850 sportsman, a 16 850 high lifter, and 2 17 rzr 1000 turbos (a 2 seater and a 4 seater).
2013 sportsman 850 throttle issues..
Hey guys, had my whole atv tore apart after a major rollover and was wondering if anyone could tell me where these wires hook up too?? My quad is sputtering and it’s a new tps, and the cable is completely disconnected if that helps.. thankyou
Race driven brake pad problem
I got my race driven brake pads in and installed and it was way too hard to get them on for one, two the wheels will barely turn because they’re grabbing. The pads appear way too thick and yes I ordered the ones for my year and model an 08 outlander 800 std.
I even took them to the grinder to knock them down some and still are too thick. Kind of sucks I’ll have to buy different pads from brp because they seem to be the only ones that work. I didn’t want to spend $90 on brake pads, so I went with race driven and that didn’t work out. Anyone else have this issue?

1996 Sportsman 400 4 x 4 2 stroke white smoke
Hi all, I have a 1996 Sportsman 400 4 x 4 that I acquired from a family member. He told me that it was running fine and all of a sudden white smoke started pouring out from under the seat and it quit running. It will turn over so i don't think the bottom of the engine is bad. My thought is that it may be the head gasket. Any thoughts before I tear down the engine?
Thanks
