Hmf bumper

Anyone have or seen one of these in person? I think it'd be perfect for picking up the front end and moving the quad, but from the pictures, it looks really cheap. I'm afraid it'd bend the first time I tried to pick up the quad with it.

New Owner

Just got my new HD10 Max. Wanting to know the biggest tire I can put on it with out a lift. Thanks Joe from Cabot AR.

Dark rear brake fluid

Anyone else notice this, I noticed it from almost brand new. Never thought about it till bleeding them the other day.
Does anyone have any idea why the rear fluid seems different than straight DOT4 colour. Did they use mineral oil for the rear from the factory or something?

Maybe a Mistake?

Im 61 years old, have owned several atvs and side by sides. Last week I decided to buy a new Can AM sport, walked into the show room and noticed the 2019 Sport 1000R xmr and it looked so awesome i decided to buy it. Well got it home and drove it for the first time today, maybe its me but this thing is pretty loud and its hitting 7000 rpm and only going around 45 mph, Im not sure what red line is, am i going to over rev this thing to get it up to 55?

I did drive the regular 60 inch sport a couple weeks earlier and was very impressed so I thought getting this 64 inch wide machine would be as nice or even better for trail riding once i change the tires out which I already ordered (Kanati Mongrels).

Well Its no where near the side by side i thought i was getting, it seems to be much louder than the 60 inch sport, its geared very low apparently which will make driving on the dirt roads around here not so much fun. I have it in the sport mode and on trail which should be the best performance for trail and road so Im wondering if i truly made a HUGE $25,0000.00 mistake?????

Will I ruin this machine going 45 to 55 on our dirt roads here in Montana? Should I consider selling it at a loss and get the regular sport?

800 Deluxe Stealth Edition?

Hi everybody!
So I have a question regarding this machine. A little background on me: I am a member of the local search and rescue team and after being on our ground team, I'd like to transition to the ATV team because it would save my feet and it looks like fun. I've ridden with them on a few occasions and caught the bug but just have not done anything about it. I came across something that I like but I'm not sure what I'm looking at or if the price is right.

The owner describes it as a 2007 Polaris Sportsman 800 Deluxe Stealth Edition, it has a winch, brush guards front and back gun rack mounts and what he calls the "rare stealth black plastics". It has 3000 miles but he does say it has been meticulously cared for all its life. He says he's cleaned and greased all suspension components and axles, new fluids in diffs, tranny and brake system. New internal chain, new front end rear suspension springs and shocks, new belt, new front lower ball joints and new frond and rear drive shaft u joints. Three years ago a new fuel tank with fuel gauge sensor and tires are in good shape. I offered 4000 which he will take not a penny less.

I guess my first question is:

1. Did Polaris make a Deluxe Stealth Edition? I can find either a Deluxe or a Stealth but not both.
2. Is 3000 miles reasonable for this year? I'm sure maintenance makes a difference, of course.
3. Should I ask about operating hours? I'm not sure if hours are more important than miles or what.
4. Is 4000 reasonable for this model/year? I seem to find a range, depending on engine size, model, condition between low 3000's and upper 4000's in the 07 - 08 model years.

I don't care about frills like the "Deluxe Stealth" or whatever edition it is, this just seems like a good "bang for my buck" machine and figured I'd pull the trigger. .

Any help and input I can get is greatly appreciated, so thank you all in advance. This is for a good cause.

Thank you all!

Not an owner yet but would like to be

Hello all! I decided to get on this forum in order to learn about Polaris ATV's and make a more informed decision when I finally decide to buy one. Several members of my Search and Rescue team have Polaris ATV's and they really like them. Hopefully it won't be too long before I have my own.

Chest Waders For Tall Guys!

I have to give a shout out to Gator Waders for making something tall guys can fit into. I am 6'9", with a 15 boot and 36" waist 36-37 inseam. Finding waders is pretty well impossible, or so I thought! Once I got into the Canam world, I quickly learned of Gator Waders and gave them a peek. I found a 14 Long size that is meant for people up to 6'6, but at 6'9 they are right under my arms and nearly at my collar bone. The crotch is a inch low, but they are stretchy and I can work with it! If you are tall or large or just need a set of waders, I went with the Throttle 2.0 mossy oak, and love them! Bought mine through Louis at PowerModz!
