How do you carry your gear?

I do a lot of camping/hunting/fishing/4x4ing off my bike and on weekends away I carry a lot of gear with a little trailer but latley the trailer is getting hung up on a lot of dense bush, it's really only for the trip in and out.

I'm thinking of making a smaller trailer but I thought I'd ask does anyone else take a trailer or load up the bike?

The blue trailer is a nice narrow one a mate has and the other one is the one I usually load up.

RC2 shocks on XMR

I just wanted to put this out there because I searched for days trying to get an answer. I purchased used but new fox RC2 shocks that are from a 2016 renegade 1000 xxc to put on my 2016 outty 850 xmr. Everything I read said they wouldn't fit because of the longer stroke of the shaft and would rip your headlights out under full compression. These people are wrong. They do fit without any clearance issues with stock tires. I installed them and winched the front end of my xmr down on a trailer until the shocks were compressed to the rubber stop and had a couple inches left until my tires would hit the headlight housings.

I gained 1 1/2 inches of shock travel but with the stock rc2 springs I lost 2 inches of ground clearance (10 inches in front from 12). I haven't had much time to trail ride it and make adjustments but I think I am going to put my xmr springs on it. I think the Rc2 springs are a little soft for the heavier bike. I don't care much about ground clearance. I would rather sacrifice that and have a plusher ride. It seems to be harder to wheelie too since there is better weight transfer when punching the go button compared to the stock shocks. It was too good of a deal to pass up on these RC2 shocks.
