Homemade Lock and Ride Anchors

Hey folks, just wanted to share a picture of some lock an ride anchors I made this past week. I know it's been done a few times and there are many knock off ones out there for a decent price now but I'm handy, and decided to try and make a couple using a method that I wasnt entirely sure would even work.

I used an old hockey puck for the plug. Drilled out two plugs with a drill press using an 1 1/8" hole cutter. The rest is pretty self explanatory on how its assembled. They fit perfectly and only needed to be tightened by hand a few half turns before they were snug enough.

Enjoy.

Hi Everyone just joined

I currently drive an outlander max but I’m was looking into buying a used 2016 renegade 1000. Has anyone had any major problems with this machine let me know..thanks

12’ Sportsman 500 w/ RZR wheels

Just picked up a 2012 Sportsman 500 HO from good old Craigslist. Only has 400 miles on it and 68hrs! Was originally going to buy 570 but this was too good of a deal to pass up.

Came bone stock except the winch but that’s exactly what I wanted, something that wasn’t modded yet.

Current Upgrades:
-27” Dirt Commanders with RZR 12” wheels
-Koplin Grips & Shovel
-Direction 2 Fender Flares
-1.5” Wheels spacers F+R
-20” LED Bar
-PowerMadd Hand guards
-Camco Black Boar Seat + Storage
-Cabela’s 50” plow

I ride this through rough trails behind my house about 2/3 times a week since I’ve had it. I can’t get enough, it’s so much fun to plow snow, mud, and over fallen trees with ease of the AWD system and these taller tires. Next upgrade will be a 570 front bumper.

Halo Rings/ Angel Eyes for my 2019 Renegade

Hello everyone, I know there are a lot of forums about this and I have read a ton of them but none of them really give a good answer. So here I am to ask someone who may have done this already. Basically I am looking to add halo rings to my quad and have seen that the tricled ones get positive reviews but they are crazy expensive for something I don't really think is any better than the ebay ones, especially since people say their switch isnt waterproof and needs to be replaced anyways. I am not exactly trying to be cheap, if they were genuinely worth the extra I would happily pay, but I just dont see how they could be any different.

So heres my question, who has used ebay halo rings to do this and what amp fuse did you use to protect the quad in case of an issue with the lights? I would like them to be on all the time when the bike is on, but off when the bike is off (even with the key installed) so in order to do this I would have to tap one of the fuses, which one should I tap? Or am I better off using a switch and running right to the battery because it will be more durable (not sure how well tapping a fuse holds up over time).

Thanks for the help!

Used the PO to load / unload bails of Alfalfa and to situate 4x game cameras. We expect to see ~100 head of Elk in the next few days.
