Left side front axle has some slip, not the U joint ? Help

Ok I noticed tonight while greasing all the fittings that the front left side axle has some slip in it, not a lot .
The movement is not the joint and it’s not the shaft coming out of the front diff... it’s the yolk where it meets the splines in the shaft coming out of the diff.
Is there a set screw to hold the yolk tight to the shaft ?
If you grab the axle and pull it up and down you can see the yolk is a little sloppy on the shaft.
Seems like it’s only in one position.. so if it slips at 12:00 and 6:00 it doesn’t at 3 and 9... but if you rotate it then it’s at 3 and 8 and not at 12 and 6
Is this something you guys have seen before or am I being too anal

Cargo Racks for 2018 Polaris Sportsman 570 SP

As you all know, the composite Lock-N-Ride decking that comes on the Polaris Sportsman is troublesome to add extended cargo racks. I have a few questions:

Has anyone found and used a rear rack that is designed for the Sportsman? Not universal - but that the rack is wrapped around the seat and not over the top of it and is easily attached? I don’t care if it uses the Lock-N-Ride tie-downs, bolts and nuts or zip strips.

Has anyone found either a drop box or raised box that will hold milk crates (13 x 13) much like the common 3 x 5-gallon buckets?

Has anyone been stopped by the police or Conservation Officers obscured taillights because of their drop box?

I have about a mile to the lake for ice fishing and, so far, I have been pulling a cart behind me. It is cumbersome and rattles a lot. I can get all my gear on the ATV if I get my racks squared away.

Thanks all.

What is it?

So starting into the routine on my '04 Sportsman 400 and found the item (pictured) loose up under the right fender. Looks like a belt. About 1-1/4" wide. Any thoughts?

Hello all, I’m new here, I bought sportsmen 700 yesterday and I went to ride it and it goes into reverse good and low good but when you slam it into high it starts grinding bad and keeps grinding until you pull it back into low and it’s fine but once you stop and slam it back in high it starts grinding again, is it not going all the way into high gear?? Is there away to adjust the shifter at all? I’m new to the Polaris world, any help would be appreciated very much friends thanks!!

2004 Predator 50cc throttle

I'm working on a 50cc kids quad and there seems to be a problem with the throttle. It starts and idles, but when giving it gas, it dies. It seems like there's some electric connection that activates the kill circuit.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

Help!

Hey, my name is Corbin. I’m from North Carolina and have been riding my whole life, use to race dirtbikes when I was younger but lately I have been riding a 2014 Honda Rancher 420 and me and my friends ride in a lot of mud, enough to where I had been thinking about snorkeling my Rancher. But I sold it last weekend and am looking into a can am. 2 of my buddies bought 2017 Can am XMR 850’s brand new and haven’t had an issue out of them that I know of. I have been looking into the XMR 570, I found a very nice used 2016 570 XMR with only 37 hours and it seems to be in great shape. But I have read some forums and reviews where people say they’re nothing but issues. Can you guys help me out? I know nothing about them. Thanks so much!!

2002 crankcase filter arrow which direction ??

I saw some oil in the air box, dealer said maybe plugged crankcase filter OR over full oil,,, I pulled off the filter that is on the left side,, I could blow thru both ways,,
The arrow was, I think, pointing toward the engine NOT the air box... is that correct,,,
