05 sportsman 500 ho stalls

I have a 05 sportsman 500 ho that ran fine all summer, now in the colder weather it stalls when I try to accelerate. It will start fine and will idle, but when i press the throttle it :eekgoes 15 feet and dies. I have tried it with different choke positions - still the same. However, if I let it run at idle for 20 mins it will run fine.
I have checked the throttle contacts, cleaned the carburetor, replaced the fuel filter, replaced all the fuel lines, replaced the fuel pump and spark plug. Nothing has changed. short of replacing the carburetor iI am stumped

Ds90 high idles

I bought a like new, like unuse DS90

Bike idle fine a 1700-1800 rpm but once it get warmed up, idle stay high at 3000 and even a bit higher. If i slow down the idle with the idle screw it wont idle cold. Even with choke on.

Once its idling high, if a give it a fast throttle blip, the idle get down to 1400-1500 then get higher right where it was before.

The bike is stock

Thebreather hose from crankcase/timing chain seems to bring alots of hot air with a fuel/oil smell, could this pressure make the idle higher.

Any idea??

wont rev

you guys helped me so much in the past hopefully someone can help me again. lol
Its a 2000 xpedition 425 the bike has been running exellent. It sat for a couple months but i have started it up frequently and let idle. well i actually went to ride it and it will only idle if i give it a little gas and runs very smooth and idles perfect with a little gas but soon as i try and give it a little gas like 1/4 throttle and on it wont rev up and sounds terrible. Obvisouly i believe its a carb problem so i took it off gave it a cleaning and nothing changed same exact thing. Where should i start to look within the carb or any other area? its acting like the choke/enricher is stuck on but checked that. any help is greatly appreciated guys.

2013 Scrambler 850 Belt Brands & Part #s

Hey, guys. Somewhat new to the group. I was browsing the previous threads and couldn't really find anything specific about drive belt brands (after shredding mine yesterday). I was wondering if anyone has used the Gates brand or any other ones, or if the original Polaris ones are preferred. Also, what is the difference between the 3211123 and 3211160 OEM belts? My service manual says to get the 3211123 for Scramblers & Sportsmen 850s built before mid-Oct. 2012 and 3211160 for machines built after. Mine therefore calls for the 3211123. Why does it matter? Thanks for your help!

Water Pump Seal

I know this has been asked a multitude of times but I haven't found my answers after searching for a while. I noticed my water pump weep hose was leaking pretty badly while idling my quad getting ready for a ride after sitting for nearly 2 months, I called my dealer today and booked it in for them to test it and see if it will be warranty (I have Can Am BEST warranty for 2 years). Onto the questions, What do they do to test if I need a new seal? Roughly how long should it take for them to diagnose it? I don't want to take it in and have them check it just to deny my warranty and end up getting stiffed with the bill for diagnosis, doesn't take long to add up at just over $100 an hour.

fuel pump question please help

I have 2000 xpedition with both fuel lines to the carb disconnected. should fuel be flowing out of both lines or just 1 line? Atv is not running correct wont idle and feels like the choke is stuck on or not getting enough fuel

Ignition Powering Up after Washing but turned to off position

On several occasions after I wash my 1000 the odometer and the lights (If On) come on even though the key switch is off. The Run switch is in the "run" position as well because I tend never to use it. I am assuming my ignition switch is getting wet. I have changed it once but even the current one does the same deal.

anyone experience this? The switches are very cheaply made and not waterproof at all. I tried finding a better aftermarket one but they all seem cheap. I think im going to get another new one and then "Plasti-Dip" it getting a nice rubber seal formed around it.
