Tire size question – Outlander 500 MAX XT

I was hoping to put larger / wider tires on my 2015 Outlander 500 MAX XT. It comes stock with 26x8-12 (front) & 26x10-12 (rear). Do any of you know if I will need to lift the suspension or use wheel spacers for extra width if I were to go up to 27x9-12 (front) & 27x11-12 (rear) ?

Beadlocks

Soooo, I have a set of ITP SD single beadlock wheels coming in the mail. First set of beadlocks on anything, I just have to get the tires off the old rims, right, and force them onto the new wheel, then assemble the ring onto the outside of the tire, sandwiching the rubber in between? Tighten in a star, criss cross pattern in steps, getting up to whatever the manufacturer says for torque settings. Any tips from current beadlock wheel owners on install and maintenance? Pure mud bike, no real high speeds, will be going up to a 31" tire.

Why change out the primary clutch?

Hi all,
I purchased a new Rene 1000 XMR last week and I’ve read that a lot of guys change out their clutch. Curious as to the why? Often times the secondary is left alone. Anyways, just looking for some insights on the Pros to switching it out. Many thanks!

NEEDED: Sunglasses Input/Advice

Hi Gang,
Well we just signed a significant licensing deal with a company to develop high-end branded sunglasses for them and the offroad market. We need some input as to why riders might choose premium sunglasses like Oakley, Costa and others.

We are also working with a manufacturing partner that has developed one of the big industry names as well....so we can make just about anything. I've been wearing some first prototypes and love them.

These will probably come in about 40% less than Oakley but I'm confident we can get the premium features/styles into it.

So if you are a sunglasses guy, we'd love your input as to style? Features? Warranty? Lenses?


Any thoughts here would be most welcome. We are aiming for a launch around spring, 2019.

Engine oil

Hey guys, I've done a little searching on here and can't seem to find anything. I'm wondering what brand of engine oil you guys are using? Where does a guy get the crush washers and new filters if I don't go with the XPS oil change kit?

EPS retrofit

Since my 2012 550 X2 engine is lunched, I am going to replace the engine. I have a lead on a damaged 2011 550 Sportsman with EPS on it. You guessed it...would like to add EPS to my X2. Has anyone ever successfully done this? Looked at exploded views of both vehicles and I'm thinking that I can do this. Any experienced input would be appreciated!
