Brand new 850, alignment out of square to rear wheels

Hey guys so I bought a brand new bike picked it up on Wednesday. I took it arou d the feild here for 5 or 10 mins. Realize its wandering left. No biggie. It's a new bike. Dealer probzblyjhst slapped it together.

Wasn't a big deal to me as I'm no stranger to wrenching. So I setup the stringline, with 2 jackstands, I get up front and crack the jamb nuts on both side of the roads, left and right. Spin one out a couple turns, same with the other. then I tale my carpenters square for measure, the alognemmts almost zeroed out. However I realize that my front drivers wheel is about 1/2" Inside of my string line from rear wheel. On the passenger side front, I'm about 1 to1 1/8" inside of my stringline.

I got the alignment done and set it zero. Thought I'd try that out. But the wheels are out of square to the rear wheels. I took a 8 foot straight edge to get my stringline bang on to see if I was overlooking. Nope I look all around, looking to see if the dealer accidentally installed something wrong or the kid there put a spacer in a wheel on accident or something. I can find anything. Has anyone else had this problem? I will post pics tmo

94 400l 2×4 kicking my but!!

Hey guys,
I bought old 94 400 L for next to nothing and I am having the hardest time getting it to run. The guy I got it from said that it ran last season. But you all know we all say the same stuff. It will turn over and almost kick off but nothing. It starts back firing through the exhaust and start smoking like it really wants to run but nope. I changed the spark plug. I took the carburetor apart and it is clean as a whistle all the jets are clear and the floats float. I took the reed cage out and inspected the reeds and they all opened and reseated fine. I turned over the motor with the carb. off and it shot out a huge fireball so I know it is getting fire. the thing is when I put my hand over the carb to choke off the air it does not pull a vacuum. I checked the boot or the intake and everything is sealed up tight. I am at my whits end everything is saying it should run but nada

2013 Outlander XMR 1000 Front Outputshaft Seal Replacement

I am attempting to replace the seal front the gearbox side for the front output shaft and I can't figure out how it comes out. I have removed the bolt inside the black coupler and it doesn't seem to slide off so I can slide the seal out the front. I have tried removing the 3 bolts holding the front plate on and it just slides forward a few inches and then stops from something holding it on the inside. I am not sure if I am just supposed to hammer on this thing or what but any insights would be greatly appreciated. Pics are attached, thanks for looking!

Issues

Hey all, any help would be great.
Was out in the rain yesterday and had the following issue.
After riding for quite a while I parked the quad and when I returned 4 or 5 hours later it was completely dead.
Nothing.... and it is a new battery. I was able to jump it but it had no power unless I kept it hooked up to the jumper box.
I thought my battery must of shorted out and tried charging it but it was fully charged 13+ volts.

I have ZERO ignition...ignition lights or any other lights with the fully charged battery unless it is being jumped.

TIA

Front Prop / Drive Shaft Install – 02 Sportsman 700

Hey all... I've got an 02 700 and the previous owner had removed the front prop / drive shaft to change the u-joints but never got around to it. I replaced them and went to install it back today but couldn't seem to figure out how to get it back in could somebody provide some information? The technical service manual doesn't have any information in it. Thanks in advance!

Bypassing oil pump question / fuel/oil mix in air box

Ok so I just picked up a used scrambler 50 for my son. The guy I bought it from says there is mixed fuel oil in it 32:1 . He said he didn’t trust the oil pump.

Buttt he said everything is still hooked up if I want to drain the gas and fill oil tank and fresh gas.

Don’t you need to remove pump? And block it off?. Also cap spot on carb?

I am having some issues with fuel/oil mix leak and it looks like the seal on the air box is bad and it’s leaking. So I need to figure out why the fuel mix is making its way into air box.

polaris crankcase duct hose

On my scrambled 50. I noticed that the crankcase duct hose that runs from the crankcase to the other side has two big tears in it.

Would still cause anything negative ?

First Ride With My Mods done…. WOW!

Went for the first ride yesterday since having my machine dyno-tuned and the new clutches put in...... Wow! I thought my Gen 1 800 was a beast, this thing kills it now. I raced my brother on his 1000 and they were like 2 different machines. At one point I looked down to see how fast I was going and the speedo was showing 130km/hr..... and it still had a bit more throttle left too!

The clutches work superbly and they are super quiet. My brother runs STM on both clutches and although they are much quieter than stock.... the QSC Rev X and 2nd Gen STM were quieter still.

I am very pleased with the clutch combo and can now recommend the pair to anyone considering them. Time will tell if the primary holds up as good for me as the CV Tech did.

I really can't get over how much oomph is left in these machines after the governor usually kicks in. The ECU reflash was definitely worth it...... no excessive heat from the exhaust at all at any time yesterday.

Polaris rigid light bar

Has anyone mounted this light bar to a new body style XP1000? Is this the way to go or are 2 4 way cubes a better set up? I’m also wondering about LED bulbs for the headlights and pod light. Night vision stock isn’t horrible, but I’d like more🤓:grin
