CODE 25 Help
I have a code 25 showing up on my Polaris. Does anyone know how to trouble shoot this one? I have disconnected battery and it still appears. My gears selection still shows up properly on the instrument gauge. Seems to shift and run fine. I do not have any check engine light while running. My Polaris manual does not discuss this issue or show this code. Research has said its Transmission Input-Invalid gear. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
2000 Trailblazer ignition issues
Hello All, first time poster on the forum here. Got a 00 Trailblazer I’m working on. Received with a crank no start condition. Followed manual and unplugged CDI black wire and still no spark. Found broken engine to chassis ground and repaired it. Started over with troubleshoot, now with black CDI wire disconnected I get spark and it runs. The troubleshoot in the manual just has you check limiter, ignition switch, and start/stop switch to ground. All three pass. Here is the kicker. If I reconnect the cdi black wire then disconnect the limiter black wire it starts and stops fine with ignition switch and with the start/kill switch. I’m guessing the limiter is bad but there is no troubleshooting in the manual for the actual limiter device (LR49-1). Any input on if the rpm limiter is bad?
Sportsman Premium or Highlifter 1000
I’m thinking about purchasing a 2019 sportsman 1000 XP premium or highlifter 1000 and was wondering what are some of the pros and cons of owning one?
2003 Sportsman 700 Kokusan Kit
Before I bite the bullet on a new kit looking to see if someone either bought one they never used or a used kit they took off a bike. 2003 Sportsman 700. Let me know if you have anything, not in a rush to get it as the machine still runs good.
Ranger is high
Looking at a Ranger but I have a 73 inch door in my trailer. Can I take the top or cage off so I can trailer? If so how hard is it to remove ?
thanks

300k mile old diff fluid
I have a '11 Crown Vic with 300k miles on it and my rear diff fluid looks like this...
Been watching some utube vids on how to change this fluid out but after a visit to the local Advance store I've got some questions. Up til now, forums on the net have led me to believe that all former police cars (which is what mine is) need 75w-140 fluid with friction modifier, but after giving them my VIN at Advance the computer comes back with a fluid suggestion of 80w-90.
Here's the diff tag...
I believe that shows a 3 (L or 1)? 27 which indicates a 3.27 gear ratio, and then an 88 after, which indicates the 8.8 axle. Not sure what that SYN means, unless it means synchronous?
This car is driven VERY sparingly, long distances at 60-65mph but never hard, and operates in a climate that can get up to 95F in the summer.
When the rear is jacked up and one rear wheel is spun, the other moves in the opposite direction.
So my first question is... what weight fluid should I use? Also, I need confirmation if I should use a friction modifier.
Next is how to go about changing the oil out. I'm being lazy here and after watching a vid on how you can extract 80% of the diff fluid out the fill hole by using a flexible hose I'm thinking about just doing it that way. But if you guys think it's necessary to get all that old fluid out I'll take plate off and do it the regular way.
And lastly, if I take the plate off, should I spray all the gears down with brake cleaner to get all the old fluid out, or just let it drain for a while and call it good?

Sportsman 850 XP hard idle
Hey what’s up guys I’m Ramiro I’m new to the forum, I just purchased a used 2013 Polaris sportsman 850 XP. I noticed that when it is idle you can hear a back fire or misfire, this also happens when I’m driving it at a slow and steady speed. I’m going to be changing the spark plugs and air filter soon but if it’s not that do any of you have any idea what could be causing it? Thanks in advance
LED head lights
Hi my name is Chris, I’m new to the forum! Just bought a new 2019 sportsman 850 and was looking into getting LEDs for it. Was just curious if they make the whole housing/ if the rzr leds are compatible. I’d rather not spend a few hundred on them only to find out they don’t fit and have to return them. Thanks!
