Ive discovered that my 2011 Sportsman 500 HO is dripping fuel out of a tube from the bottom of the carburetor. Is this a sticky needle and what can I do for it..Thanks
New can-am plow kit?
Hey guys,
I'm interested in the new quick attach BRP plow kit... but I can't find any info on it ... no reviews, no videos nothing.
I have a 2018 850 Max... so from what I gather I would need this kit
https://www.brp.ca/off-road/shop/acc...ch-system.html
as well is this mounting bracket
https://www.brp.ca/off-road/shop/acc...ing-plate.html
and then a plow of my choice.
Anybody have any news on this setup?

EFI tuner
Really getting annoyed with the hot left ankle... :smile
In all seriousness, I'm planning to pickup a Dobeck EFI thingy. I'm not looking to "squeeze" out any performance tweaks on our 570. I'm just wanting to richen things up, and cool things down.
Since my Outty is still under warranty, I was just curious. Do most folks remove the EFI tuner when taking in their ATV's? I really don't want to blow out the warranty. But then again, I'm not trying to push the engine towards any limits. Just want to have a good, (and more cooler), running motor.
TIA,
-Jav (in Arizona)

Engine light came on after changing the voltage regulator
Just wondering if there is a reset that i should do after changing the voltage regulator? Changed it out along with putting new hand warmers on my bike last night, turned the key on lastnight, and it didnt display and engine light, started it today, and the engine light was on, and when i give it gas, it just sputters like it does when you’re in reverse without override, hopefully someone can help out !

performing my own 10 hour service
Hola group,
I'm planning to perform my own 10 hour service, (the whole peace of mind thingy).
For some background: We have a 2018 Outty 570 Max DPS. I also have the BRP HMWPE plastic skid plate.
Our Outty just crossed over the 10 hour mark, so I'm planning to change the fluids. I already have the oil and filter for the engine oil change. Just wanting to check on a few things with the group.
I realize this effort will require removing lots of plastic, so no worries. The weather is really nice now in Arizona. :smile
Needing a little help regarding the transmission fluid change.
I figure the priority at this point is to change the engine oil, followed by the tranny fluid. Then the rear diff fluid (because I'm not running 4x4 all the time, and this bad boy takes most of the work), and followed by the front diff.
Would appreciate any insight and guidance. (Please be gentle, I'm an ATV noob). :smile

I presume besides taking off the required plastic panels, this will also require dropping the BRP skid plate?Needing to drop the skid plates for changing the front and rear diff fluids too? I understand that both the front and rear use a different type of fluid.
It requires 75W 140 fluid - any recommendation?
Also, is there a change kit? or do I just buy a replacement O-ring for the drain plug? If so, is there a part number?
A new magnetic drain plug and seal is needed? If so, anyone have a part number?

18 sportsman 850 on the way!
Hey guys, grew up riding, havent had a bike of any kids in a few years. Well I just pulled the trigger on an 18' sportman 850 (no PS) base model.
Super excited, as this bike.i will use all year round, for ice fishing as well in the winter. I'm located in southern/central ontario about an hour north of T.o. paid 9,150 before hst so I couldn't pass it up. I was looking at used junk for 6k , and I figured to finance a few grand and habe a brand new unbeaten bike was the route for me.
Guys I plan to buy some nice new tires and wheels. Ky question is what's a good tires size thats not to unreal, and a tire thats good for mud but I can still ride the road where I need to.
And what are some good bang for the buck mods? Exhaust? New CDI? Thanks guys!
