I have a 2015 570 that customer brought to me that wouldn't start at all. Needed a new battery, did that. Would start and die IMMEDIATELY after getting a battery. Checked fuel pressure was 20 PSI.. Replaced with a new pump assy. Now getting that good 58 PSI :).
The bike runs pretty good! Only issues I am having now is sometimes it'll die on start-up. Sometimes will bog when stabbing the throttle hard. Normal old man rolling on throttle running down road or trail its perfect, when its warm. Other than that it runs and revs clean, lot of power, able to pull wheelies and whatnot Lol. Some backfiring on decel when ridding and when revving in N and Park. Has cut off 2 or 3 times when going a good speed then slowing down somewhat rapidly, but started right back up. (Clutch system and all is in perfect condition, barely any wear at all.)
New battery, new fuel pump, bike IS charging, filter clean, everything looks in order! Only thing I have not done is change plug or pulled throttle body or injector or anything like that off to clean. Bike sat for a year or so customer said. But again, it runs pretty good besides those issues.
He also had another 570 that ALSO needed a fuel pump. Both sat equal time. The other bike runs absolutely 100% perfect. Even starts easier. Don't have a reason to put a plug or pull TB or injector on other one, runs perfect!
I have yet to 100% drain tank and add new fuel w/ TB INJ cleaner. Ive heard that stuff is just snake oil and does not work.. Think about it.... Gas in an EXCELLENT solvent.. High pressure fuel will clean just as good or better than high pressure FI cleaner, both forced thru injector, rail, and TB to clean it...
JS.. Lol
Any ideas???
