2003 sportsman 700 problems (dumb question)

I have a 2003 polaris sportsman 700, the thing that controls when the fan turns on keeps going out on it, my question is does the fan suck air or blow air through the radiator? I have a after market temp gauge on it so im just going to hook a toggle switch up to turn the fan on when it hits around 200 degrees. just need to know which way the fan runs . Thanks for any and all help.

Battery suggestion and batt blanket

Batt just went out on my 700 Griz and at this point I'm not familiar enough with batt brands to get what I'm after. Any suggestion for a specific batt or batt brand that's decent but not high priced?

Also, couple years ago I remember seeing a warmer blanket or pad made for small 4 wheeler sized batts, but I lost track of who was selling it. Anyone know where I could find something like this?

Pitman Arm removal

2012 Outlander Max with EPS. I bent my pitman arm when I hit a tree with the front right wheel. I have the steering column loose and I just need to know how to get the pitman arm off. Is there a good video on the internet somewhere?

2012 400 HO no power to display

I think I may have posted to the wrong spot before I found this repair forum but I am trying to get help getting my 2012 400 HO carb wheeler running. After sitting for a few months it cranked and cranked a but would not even come close to starting. The display was working normal. After a few minutes of cranking the display stopped working and will not light back up even after the battery is recharged. I verified I have a good connection and 12.6 volts. Also made sure all 4 fuses in the front were good. Any help would be appreciated. After power leaves the battery it hooks into a little round part and then seems to go to the starter and the front to a bunch of pigtails. There is also something in the front that looks a lot like a relay box type fuse to me. It says coil 12vdc 50A 14VDC. Maybe that is burnt out? I feel like I had to have fried something since the display was working fine when it was cranking.

2012 400 HO no power to display

Hey guys I have a 2012 400 HO and was trying to start it after sitting for a few months and it cranked and cranked but never got close to running. After a minute or two of cranking the display turned off and now I can get it to turn back on or crank. Any suggestions on what I should check. Recharged the battery and it has 12.6 volts. I checked the 4 fuses up front and they looked good.

Does this look like a 3.5+3.5 wheel???

I'm trying to figure out if this looks like a 0mm (3.5+3.5) wheel... I swear it looks VERY wide, like maybe he has spacers too. Thoughts? PS- tried to message the guy with no luck.

Maintenance Agreement for NEW ATV

Knowing zip about these new POLARIS ATV's , I accepted a 'Vehicle Maintenance Agreement' at $1,499 for 36 months back in 2016. This covered fluid changes and overall check-ups every 6 months. Plus any major repair in which my out-of-pocket would be 50% of total costs.

After reaching the end of my PLAN's agreement . Average cost $250 each, was covered by the agreement. Plus one repair of faulty ignition switch after 1 year of ownership. $260, of which I paid over $100 out-of-pocket.

Although things could have been worse during that time period, and the Agreement could have saved me bundles.. What actually transpired is the $1,499 i paid for the PLAN more than covered all visits including the emergency repair.

Next spring, hopefully I'll be doing my own fluid changes at a huge savings, baring any unforeseen :devilproblem.

Clutch Porn – QSC Rev X Primary With STM Gen 2 Secondary

Here's a cool picture of the before and after on my clutch swap. Machine is headed to the dyno today or tomorrow for tuning. Can't wait to see how she wakes up! From what I could find online.... the primary shaves off around 5lbs of rotating mass from the stock setup.

It was a toss-up between the CV Tech or the Rev X but in the end I opted for the QSC in hopes it would run a bit quieter and it was around 2lbs lighter than the CV Tech. The CV Tech is no slouch though... I had one on my Gen 1 and it worked phenomenally!

Youth ATV

Hi just wondering what ATV ppl started their kids out on?? BRP really has nothing for a 3 yr old and i am not sure which knockoff brands are good, even though I see BRP as many others are really all made by the "knockoff" companies.

I have read that the DS 70 can be de-tuned so to say for younger kids and have heard of many ppl starting their 3 yr olds on them...is this a fair statement that they can be governed down to the 5mph range properly?? If so it seems as it would be a better investment as it could last 10 yrs with updating to the 90 throttle cable and gearing later on.

I have also read there are better brands than the BRP DS 70 as they are Chinese knockoffs anyhow

Really do not want an electric one as I feel it will drain the battery pretty fast driving down the lane at our farm...it is 2 km one way basically

Thanks Michael M
