Hey everyone, Randy and Maria 4 years into riding and kept telling wife not to use the keys to turn off the quad instead the switch.
Alas, now her ignition is kaput.
Can am wants too much $$$ for pretty much anything so wondering if someone can help a newly into replacing or bypassing the chipped anti-theft ultra ignition as all the lights went out totally but she still runs.
Any info. is greatly appreciated

Just wondering if anybody has direct comparison between outlaw 2 and bkt on same machine. kicking around ideas of switching and I've never had bkt

I went to start to start the bike up this morning. Fired up but then idled to around 1100-1200rpm kinda stumbling lower even maybe to 1000 rpm. Then it made a pop sound then sounded real rough. Almost as if it was running on one cylinder. I let it be for a minute or two. Came back and noticed it was still running rough. Touched the throttle to try and clear it out. After that i could smell oil then it died. Started it back up nd it idled normal but could still smell oil and i could see a little white smoke coming out. It cleared within 30 seconds but i know this is not normal. It only has 14hrs on it. Always allowed to warm up before using and by no means hard on it. It was 9c out so nothing extreme. Since new it would idle lower at around 1300 when left outside for the night. In the shop its starts fine. Is this a warranty issue? Or a fix i can do myself? Thanks

So I get home to see my wife balling her eyes out. She had started my atv and moved it all of 10 feet and shut it off only to see sparks and smoke coming from around the ignition key. Within 30 seconds the bike was engulfed in flames and now is just a molten mess of nothing.
Do you think that extended warranty will cover it?

Is a heated shield needed for the winter in upstate New York or will an insulated one work?

Hey guys im looking into tires for my bike ive been looking for a long time to find something that fits my riding style. Anyways i think im going to go with either the cst wild thang or maxxis zilla, being that i have the sp model i have 14" rims, just wondering if anyone know if ill be able to clear the 10" wide fronts and 12" wide rears in a 27" tire that id like to run. I really wantes to run the bearclaw htrs but they dont make 27s so theyre out of the question 😞. If youve got pics post em up thatd be great thanks guys.
