Seems like every time I go out and ride (in mud and water) I drain my rear diff and it looks like a grey pasty sludge. No noticeable signs of cracking in the diff and no known holes in my vent tube. Figured it could be the axle seals but both are dry. Somewhere water is getting in but not leaking out.

Anyone have any ideas?

2016 Sportsman 1000 HL

I have a 2011 outlander xmr 800. I had tons of problems with the fox air shocks so I finally changed over to Elka's. Huge difference.


I was told I could turn off the ACS system using BUDS on a megatech license so off I went and got everything needed.
I log into BUDS with a megatech license and megatech priledges. I go to advanced and all I have is a EPS Logging tab, Cluster coding with not a great deal that I could understand and also ECM coding tab. The ECM coding tab has loads of check boxes and absolutely nothing that makes sense to me for my bike. It has mention of depth sounders and loads of what I would call boat related.


So I seem to either be doing something wrong and I have tried everything or my bike is a little messed up from before I got it.


I am wondering if anyone would have a 2011 outlander max 800R XT or XXC firmware? Basically I can try flash mine with one that has power steering but no air suspension. This will then stop the bike flashing with faults because I have removed the acs.


Any help would be appreciated please.

I haven’t had a ATV in 10 years just recently purchased a 2018 XL sportsman 1000 . Feels good to be riding again.Looking forward to learning more about the ATV any problems or fixes thank you

Hey guys, my lower ball joint on the right side of my machine has a horrible amount of play in it with only 1000km. Any recommendations on brands to go for or shy away from? I was thinking of going OEM but I thought I'd check here first. machine is all stock 2018 850xt. Prefer to keep it to Canadian websites as I don't want to pay through the nose on shipping

1 year old 30 amp battery. Engine trouble light stays on after starting. Get a " click click click" most of the time. Then out of the blue it starts fine. If I put on charge, the charger reads charged after a minute.
Anyone know what the trouble code indicates? Thanks for any opinions!

This has been frustrating me beyond belief. I have a 2018 sportsman 570 and 450 sportsman. I am trying to put a 12 inch 75 watt light bar onto the quad. I have a fuse and a relay in the wiring harness. When I hook the light bar up to the atv battery, the led switch turns on but the light bar won’t turn on. Then I hook it up to a different battery, led switch light on and light bar on. I though it was a ground issue on the atv so I hooked the ground up to a different battery while the hot wire was in the atv battery and still nothing. Can anyone please help me???

''i was riding the other day and my speed on my speedometer quit working and was sitting at 0 mph, after about an hour it began working again for a short period of time and then once again quit ,.The rpm's and mileage continue to work its just the speed that keeps cutting out.Anyone have any tips or suggestions for me?

Hey guys I just got this installed tonight and would highly recommend it. It’s not very hard and makes a world of difference at night. I installed it just in time for hunting season. #rideon
