New belt, clean pulleys and weights.
Anytime I try to roll this ATV the rear transmission pulley (secondary) spins which makes the belt drag on the motor’s pulley (primary?). That drag make the rear wheels not spin freely.
It happened with the old belt too. I don’t know the history of this quad. I don’t see that there is a disconnect or shifter anywhere.

Hello all, my 2005 Sportmans 500 HO was dead, none of the electronics worked, no head lights, gauge console, starter-NOTHING! I tested the battery it had 12 Volts but no amps. I replaced the battery and when I installed the new battery the fan runs with the kill switch in the off position and the ignition is also off. When I put the key in the ignition and turn it to start, the starter turns but doesn’t engage. Also the gauge console and headlights don’t work when the key is in the accs or start position. I replaced all the electrical connections about 4 years ago due to corrosion. Wondering if anyone else has had the same problems and what solutions you came up with. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Wondering if the 850 xt and xt-p 6 in lift kits from super atv will fit my 850 xmr. Not sure if there are any fitment issues.
There web site is showing fitment for 850 xt xt-p 2016 and up. Shouldn't it be the second for xmr

Hello from wisconsin. Im looking forward to meeting new people. Its not much fun riding alone

So I went for my second ride with my new bike,and when I stopped I noticed that the rear fender was melting onto the muffler tip, now the rear fender is bouncing around. I owned Honda and Yamaha all my life and never had things melt before, very disappointing that I only have 495kms and proplems starting already. Shame on Can Am for poor quality

Hello everyone. I just bought a new atv this summer and now im thinking about buying a plow. I was wondering what is the best way to go aftermarket or polaris?

Ive got a 2014 570 EPS with only 300 miles and 68 hours. Was trail riding it for the first time last Sat and after shutting off after about 35 miles it would not restart, would just crank over. Got it home and can now start it but only after pumping the throttle while cranking. After it runs for a few minutes it will restart without throttle but after sitting it needs throttle again to start?? I checked the fuel pump psi and it is right at 58 lbs (dealer says right at spec). Spark plug was a little dark but not fouled. Any advice on what to look for? Nervous it will leave me stranded out in the woods on the next ride.

My water pump went in my scrambler. I took it apart and the shaft on the counter balancer that drives the water pump broke off of the gear face. I have read that there can be grooves made over time from the seal I guess but there was barely any grooves not more then a couple hairs off you head. I am curious on why it broke because all the bearings are really good and there was no obstruction, looks like it just broke off. I did bottom out kinda hard on a rock through the trails but I don’t see how that would have anything to do with it. Anyone have any input

I have a 2016 commander with the stock muffler on it. Whats the easiest way to remove the muffler without removing the bed?
