Had to pull start last few times as battery dead. Dropped a new battery in last weekend, now it turns over but wont start. ON the pull start it wont start either. Will pull/replace plug this weekend. Any other thoughts?

Hello everyone, I have been wanting an atv since they first came out. All that time I could not choose an atv before my families needs and so I went without. I am a hunter and enjoy the long days in the field but as I am getting older it is getting harder to do what I could when I was younger. Recently a family member sold me their 1997 Polaris Sportsman 500, it does need some work, but I now have a quad to assist me with hunting and hopefully snow removal once I get it setup with a plow. I hope to learn much about this machine so that I can restore it to a solid driving machine and will need your help and advice along the way. Thank you all for allowing me to become a member of this forum and I look forward to all their is to learn about this machine.

Just want to take a moment to say hi everyone. Just came into a 1999 Polaris Magnum 500 with low hours. Needs some work and this looks like a good place to get the help I need. Looking for a 6 phase speedometer-the outer ring on mine must have had something dropped on it and is badly dented. Thanks again for letting me join the group.

2015 sportsman seat issues
Hi all
I have a 2015 570 with 230 miles on it. The issue I'm having is the 2 front seat tabs barely fit into the female seat slots making a really loose fit. When you sit on the seat, they come out all together and theres about a 3/4" gap between the seat and the front housing. The seat basically slides all over the place up front when riding . I've tightened and reset the tabs but they're still barely making contact. Are there any longer tabs out there? Thanks for the suggestions on repair.

2000 325 four stroke 2×4 polaris
Went too weld the rack on the back one spark from the welder and realize I for got to take off the battery wire took it off and then finish welding the rack now it runs fine driving it or letting it sit and idle but it won't go fast at all wont go over 20 miles an hour now what don't know what to fix to make it go fast again thanks to any one that helps me

Strut came loose from 2” lift spacer,
I have a 2016 sportsman, the spacer sits on top of the strut. While doing a water wheelie with the front flexed down it just popped out of the coupling. Has anyone else had this happen?
