Gear reduction
I have a 2017 sportsman 1000 with 5" lift and 29.5. Qsc clutch kit and a rvs computer. After doing the lift I'm thinkin about bigger tires..just a 32.5..but already notice the bike struggles from time to time with the 29.5. Not often but if pressed up against a log in nasty mud ill smoke belt. Pretty normal for my setup. I cannot find any info on gear reduction. I would like to not use the highlifter setup, which I understand to be 48%, I rode a buddies hl 1000 and it's a dog compared to mine on same tires. 32.5 is A 20% increase in tire size I'd like to find something to give me 20-30% reduction would like to get back close to stock final drive ratio. Any body know of any parts I can use or anybody that sells kits to do this?
Clutch issues maybe?
Hello folks, My first post. My 97 Sportsman 500 started out missing at high rpms. After changing plug, cleaning carb, disconnecting the rev limiter, and installing a new oem belt still had issues. I removed the primary drive clutch and all seems to be good , I removed the driven clutch to find broken buttons. I replaced the buttons reassembled and my machine will not move in high range but will function fine in reverse and low range. Also, the belt continues to turn while in neutral. Any ideas??

GP Shoxs
Has anyone give GP Shoxs a try... they look good and good price.:smile
anyone using royal purple in diff and gearbox?
Was about to buy it, and I read on the bottle, "for limited slip diffs, not for use in wet clutch diffs like ATVs" or something like that.
Can am manual recommends GL5 fill synthetic so technically, that would do it....
Do you use the canam stuff or any brand of GL5 gear oil like that?(with the proper weight)
Thanks

Another new menber
Just wanted to stop in and say hello. Just bought my first Polaris, a 2018 blue 570 SP after coming over from "another" brand. Had brought it home for 15 minutes and the dealer had to come get it. No EPS but was fixed and they brought it back the next day. For the four miles I had it the first day I loved how it rode and the power was definitely better than my other brand I came from. Just hope all stays well for awhile. I think I'll be very happy! Have a day!

A new Form of ATV – DTV shredder
I have an ATV that I like too much specially while going for an offroad drive with my friends. One of my friends also likes to drive newly evolved ATV vehicles.
While our last outing we saw an awesome crossover ATV called DTV shredder which is a mix of snowboarding, skateboarding, surfing and jet skiing. I rode it the whole day & I found the experience was very thrilling as the DTV Shredder is very fast. It was one of a kind experience to drive DTV shredder.
In my opinion, every ATV enthusiast should try it once.
