I have an issue I need help with. Sometimes when I apply the brakes my pedal goes to the floor if I let off and mash it again I have a full pedal. My local shop has checked it out and tells me everything checks good. They bleed the brakes, checked calibers and could find nothing but maybe a little air in the lines. Has anyone had a similar issue thanks for the help.

Renegade 850 vs Sport Quads (400ex, raptor 700)
Hey everyone, so long story short, Ive own a honda TRX400x (the newer version of the old 400ex) and cant stand it anymore. I have had issue after issue with it and no end in sight even with great maintenance. If it had all kinds of issues but performed great I wouldnt be that mad, but the engine is a dog and the suspension is basically nonexistent. Which brings me to why im on the can am forum.
I am looking to swap my 400 for something better, I naturally looked to 450r's first but am starting to lean more towards the renegade 850, seems more practical, better suspension ride, 4x4, and more powerful out of the box. So first im looking for reviews of the stock suspension on the base model renegades (the 850 or 1000 with the fox shocks) are they comfortable even for lighter riders? (I am about 180) and even on long fast trail rides? (we ride non stop from 8am to about 7pm when we go, so lot of hours in the saddle each day). and second, how do these compare to sport quads like 450s? I ride mostly tight woods trails or dunes, and like to ride hard, do you find these machines tippy or hard to ride fast. I cant afford the XXC otherwise id just get that and call er a day.
Thanks in advance!
Sorry for the repost of this thread, I had a terrible title so didn't get any info at all last time.

Another new guy
Hello, thanks for the add, just bought a 2018 sportsman 450ho, this is my first "utility" atv. I'm looking forward to racking up many miles on it and seeing how everyone has customized their quads.

Another Great Weekend
Had a good weekend of riding even though I wasn't able to get out as much as I wanted to over the 3 day weekend. Was able to share one of our favorite trails with a friend who had never been on a night ride and had never been on any of the trails in our trail system. I know that I have photographed this particular trail before but was just great to get out after a very long week and with it being so easy to access and all pavement to the trail head makes it an easy one to share . So please bear with me and my photos. We rode well into the evening and actually ended up getting back to the truck at about 11:30. That made it a bit tough since we had another ride planned with some friends the next morning, but I was up at 5:00, and had both machines loaded and driving too meet them for breakfast by 6:10. We ate breakfast, drove to the trail head, and unloaded and on the trail driving by 8:15. Again it was a trail we have ridden already this year but these folks have only been up there in the winter riding sleds so it was a new experience for them to see it in the summer. I tried to take some different photos so I'm not posting the same thing, hope that everyone had a safe and enjoyable Labor Day. FF
