Electrical issue

I’m working on my brothers 2009 outlander 400. He went too deep into water. It fried the led light bar ( hooked up direct without a fuse ). Since then the electric start only works off and on. As well as all the other accessories ( lights, brake light, winch etc ). It starts first pull and runs fine. I will add that he was having an issue with the starter staying engaged, but I rebuilt the bendix ( with Polaris parts ) and that works fine now, I replaced the relays, and checked all the fuses, and replaced the solenoid. When I test for power at the solenoid I get power when I press the green button, but it won’t engage, I can hear a click that’s it. It was working for a bit but only when key was in lights on but not when in the other position. The speedometer burnt up at some point as well. I plugged a different one in but it was from a 800 and would throw a miscommunication code to ecm. No other codes come up on ecm. If I jump the leads on solenoid it will turn over as well. Kill switch seems to work as it should. When it does decide to work, it seems as soon as you ride it, even a short distance it happens again next time you try to start it. Any ideas on where to look and check next?

Can I get camber adjustable control arms(rear) for my 2016 Ace 900? And if so where. My left rear camber is different than the right. Maybe something is bent, can't see that it is.

Opinions and Comparisons of Renegade 850

Hey everyone, so long story short, Ive own a honda TRX400x (the newer version of the old 400ex) and cant stand it anymore. I have had issue after issue with it and no end in sight even with great maintenance. If it had all kinds of issues but performed great I wouldnt be that mad, but the engine is a dog and the suspension is basically nonexistent. Which brings me to why im on the can am forum.

I am looking to swap my 400 for something better, I naturally looked to 450r's first but am starting to lean more towards the renegade 850, seems more practical, better suspension ride, 4x4, and more powerful out of the box. So first im looking for reviews of the stock suspension on the base model renegades (the 850 or 1000 with the fox shocks) are they comfortable even for lighter riders? (I am about 180) and even on long fast trail rides? (we ride non stop from 8am to about 7pm when we go, so lot of hours in the saddle each day). and second, how do these compare to sport quads like 450s? I ride mostly tight woods trails or dunes, and like to ride hard, do you find these machines tippy or hard to ride fast. I cant afford the XXC otherwise id just get that and call er a day.

LED whip?

Hi everyone, I was wondering whether you folks can recommend an LED whip that comes with the mounting brackets and stuff to fit right on a 2017 Maverick x3?

Engine oil smells like gas?

Does anyone out there have any ideas why my dip stick smells like gas? It’s not a strong smell but it’s noticable. I have no idea why it’s would start out of the blue. I have barely ridden the machine in the last two years so I’m wondering if it’s possible that I lost a gasket or seal somewhere?
