I just recently bought a 2011 can am xmr 800 from a private dealer. I am replacing the trailing arm bearing by the spanner nut. I noticed there was no seal on the bearing and the new bearing from super atv didnt come with one. My question is, is there supposed to be a seal there? It would make sense to have one because the bearing is exposed on the back side.
Overheating 650 Outlander
First off Gentlemen, thank you for any input you may have on my overheating problem. 2015 Outlander 650 Max XT.
I had my radiator out to replace a noisy cooling fan. The replacement seems to be running/cycling fine, but the engine light flashes after 15-20 minutes of riding. I top off the coolant each time it cools down. I have bled BOTH stat housing bleeder screws. Slight amount of air has come out (bleeders). I have even gone so far as to raise the rear of the machine to insure that the rear jug is higher than anything else. Same result after multiple efforts. Squeezing hoses etc. My tests have been static, 3000RPM, with a stiff breeze from a fan blowing through the radiator. The check engine light flashes on/off after approximately 20 minutes with a light overflow of coolant on the floor. My thoughts are that there is an air lock, but I can't seem to bleed it out. The fan is running and cycling as it should. The dealer says to ONLY bleed it with the engine off. WHAT AM I MISSING?
Also, the guy who invented those plastic rivets, I hope he won't be allowed to reproduce!
Thank you for your input.

2003 predator 500 lost gears and neutral
Hello i just bought a predator 500 and rode it at the guys house with no problem. I do know how to ride a manual. Took it up north and the thing runs fine the 1st day, but the 2nd day i go to ride it and i cant find 3rd 4th and 5th. Then later that night i go to put it in the garage and i park and cant find neutral. Should i take it back to the guy or that spend the money and time to fix it... I also pit generic atv oil to top it off after the 1st day as the guy never put the oil cap on all the way
XMR two-up seat install question
Ok so I picked up a new outlander two up seat for my 2016 XMR 1000. Question is do I need to remove this piece of plastic I’m pointing to in the pic? Seems like it’s preventing the seat from locking down properly. (Yes I know the bike needs a bath! Lol)
Thanks for any advice!

Throttle Issue
My 1997 400 has been working fine yesterday the throttle stopped working - only idle - the slide is working in the Carb but no power.
When the override switch is depressed the throttle works properly in Low and High gear as well as reverse. AS soon as I let go of override it acts like it's running out of gas but will idle fine.
It got pretty hot yesterday working in the woods and the machine was also hot.
Any ideas?

DS 250 Fuse blowing and no start
I have tried to research this and have not found anything with a similar problem to this one. I bought my daughter a 2008 DS250 the person I bought it from had burned up the CDI jump starting it which I do understand is a common issue. I ordered a new CDI for it and plugged it in. For some reason it will not turn over with the start button and if you leave the key on long enough it will blow the indicator lamp fuse. Even if I jump the starting solenoid it still has no fire and will not start. We are hoping to take this to the dunes next weekend and my 9 year old is really hoping I can make this thing run. The other odd thing is the tail light comes on if the handle bar switch is in the off position but as soon as you put it in the run position it turns the tail light off it acts like I got the wrong CDI unit for it but I made certain to order the right OEM part number it is a factory unit not a aftermarket one. Thank for any help

Heated Grips
Need opinions on the Can Am heated grips with thumb warmer. Are they worth the money and do they hold up? I've used aftermarket heated grips before and they are hit or miss. Thanks in advance...salute
