Overheating??? Not anymore???

Have a 2015 can am renegade 500 that recently started overheating and boiling over coolant. I also noticed the fan wasn’t kicking on so I figured that was the issue. So I went threw the checklist (check relays, fuses, temperature sensor etc.)

when I tested the temp sensor I unplugged it while it was running and the fan didn’t kick on.

So I moved on to check the fan itself. To see if the fan worked I unplugged the fan wire and tested the fan to see if that even worked with some test wire. And it did.

So I plugged the fan back in and started it up again with the temp sensor still out and all of a sudden the fan kicked on like normal.

Could the temp sensor be stuck somehow or bad connection? I didn’t jiggle any wires or really check any connections. I’m confused. Can someone explain this to me? And tell me if I should get a new temp sensor before next ride? Thanks in advance guys!

New igntion, clip on type “key”

Does anyone know if these new ignitions(keys/units) can be retrofitted to the older quads and side by sides ? They sound and look like like they are a much better option than the old key operated ones, and we know how much trouble they've been ! I think I'm on my forth one. . .

I was at my local dealer today and spotted them, but he didn't know. I see that they are on all the new models and the jet skis have them as well. Anything would be better than the old ones. . . .

07 sportsman 700 twin

Hi all im not new on here just had to renew membership cuz several reasons, anyway im working on a 07 sportsman 700 twin when i first got it it would run but very bad and smoked like a train i checked oil and it was way overfull i ended up draining 5 qts out of a 2 qt motor! No wonder it smoked! Ok i put new plugs in it and got it started but it was only hittin on one cyl ,in my testing of which cyl both started firing? If i put the plug wire on the plug all the way it stops firing of i barely set wire on top of plug it runs good? Its drivin me nuts! I thought at first it was a break in the plug wire but it switched cylinders? Now i have one plug wire on all the way but one cant be on all the way just barely settin on plug and it fires fine? But when it sets overnight or just till it gets good and cooled off,it is very hard to start and pops very bad out carb? If i mess with plug wires itl start up? This one is gettin the best of me, oh i did put a new fuel pump in it cuz at first i thought that was the problem and it already has both wire harness plug ends replaced cuz of the broken wire problems at tps and bpm or whatever that sensors callled lol. And there are no codes until u crank it alot tryin to start it then u get a 21 misfire code? Any help or idea would be greatly appreciated? Thank u very much

Should I buy Century Extended Warranty for 2018 Sportsman 450 EPS

Dealership is telling me that Century 4 yr Extended Warranty is an important policy for my proposed 2018 Polaris Sportsman 450 EPS due to mechanical and electronic issues that are not uncommon with ATV's. Is a $900 warranty prudent over a 4 yr period? We will use to play, not work, but will not be ridden excessively hard...we are not too crazy.

Top speed

I'm leaning towards buying a new 2018 850 high lifter but I wanna know the top speed stock. because the internet doesn't show

what does this control? 03 Magnum 330 4×4 ECM

First off Hi! I'm new to this forum and unfortunately my first post is for a problem inquiry.
I just purchased a 03 330 Magnum 4X4. its been sitting for 4 years but gassed and fresh battery, it started right up and ran real well. I loaded it in the truck and when I went to unload it I attempted to start it and it smoked from in front of the handle bar. I removed the ground wire and investigated. the ECM Part #4010684 is smoked and hissed!?!?!
What does this actually control? I disconnected the middle plug (the one with the bulk of the wiring) and the machine seems to run fine. The only thing I wasn't able to test at the moment was if its charging and if the 4wd works.

Any help identifying what this controls will be greatly appreciated.
thanks in advance.
