Radial street tires

I'd like to get some 14" non-aggressive radial street tires for my '18 Outlander Max. My rig is outfitted legal for street use on 45 mph roads here in Idaho. I want something that rides smoother and quieter. Any suggestions or links are appreciated.

425 Magnum Starter Issues

The electric start on this machine has never worked. Figured it probably needed a new starter so got one off e-bay. Put it in and also charged the battery. Nothing happens at all when you hit the electric start button. No clicks, hums, nothing.

None of the 'dash' lights work either. Neutral light does not come on no matter how much you wiggle the shifter lever around, etc.

If the neutral light does not come on does the machine sense that and shut down power to the electric start to prevent it taking off if it was in gear or does it not work like that?

The AWD light won't come on either so not sure if that is related to this problem.

Is there a list of things I can do to test what the problem is? I have access to basic electrical testers, lights, etc.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks!

2019 Outlander 850 max

I’m buying an outlander 850 max very soon. Of course I want the best deal I can get. How much mark up does the dealer have? Do I have to just pay the MSRP? I was given a quote of $13976.53 OTD price for the camo paint. I assume that includes MSRP dealer fees, freight and Florida taxes.

New here

I just recently bought a 2018 Sportsman 570. Hoping to get good info from here and learn. Thanks

Polaris Website updated

Not sure if they are showing the 2019 models or not, because I don't see any recognizeable changes to the vehicles I've looked at in the past, but the layout/vehicle mapping is different. I assume in preparation for the new model year, if not already updated with the new models.

If you see anything different. post it up here.

2019 arched a arms or Super ATV high clearance A-Arms

Besides a couple extra ponies on the 2019 Renegade 1000 XXC the major difference between 2018 and 2019 appears to be the arched a arms.

I'm ready and anxious to purchase a triple black renegade asap. There are a few 2018's out there, and the dealers are willing to negotiate a great deal. I'm certain I can land a great deal including some extended warranty and still be well below what I would pay for a new 2019 model.

Super ATV has some high clearance A arms. Makes me wonder if they'd be higher quality than the stock arched setup on the 19. With the extra $$$ saved on the 2018 I could purchase and install the superatv arms and still be into the machine for less.

Anyone have feedback on the superatv arched a arms? It's probably too early to compare against the 19 setup as I don't believe they've hit the dealer floors yet.

Ground?

Can someone tell me where the electrical system is grounded on my 2017 Outlander 1000 Max?

2018 Can Am max XT-P 1000

Hi

New to the forum have a couple questions on a new 2018 Outlander max. The older reads have me a bit concerned about heat and melted plastic. My dealer claimed the heat issue had been fixed prior to the 2018s. I have roughly 7 miles on mine, every ride within .5 mile it is hot enough that that I cannot even adjust the rear shock on the exhaust side (fox podium qs3) without burns. What kind of heat can this shock take paint/performance wise and how long before the plastic melt issue would typically start?

Maybe I’m worried for nothing but this thing does get HOT!

Thanks

New guy
