Lighted whips

Can you wire the whips directly to the tail lights? I’ve been told you can. I’ve also read that it all depends on how many amps the whips would pull. Just wanting to know if you can or not. I don’t know anything about electrical things.

Communication Failure- Can Am Outlander L 2016

Hello guys,

I am having a problem with my ATV Can Am Outlander 570 L - 2016. When I turn on the machine, the message "Communication Failure" appears on the display and just get that message with an "E" where the gear position would be displayed. The error remains for as long as it is switched on, and I can not know the transmission position, speed or whether it is 4x4 or not.

I am from Brazil and unfortunately the closest BRP dealer from my house is more than a day's journey. :th_smiliepissed:

Has anyone had this issue?

RTV silicone??

Has anybody used this over the polaris’s Exhaust gasket and muffler pipe? I feel like the springs aren’t holding the connection tight enough, I understand its engineered that way however it does have a exhaust leak that I can feel at that connection. I’ll be wrapping my exhaust and wanted to know if I should seal that connection between header and exhaust pipe before I cover it... any suggestion?

Oil plug threads stripped

Doing and oil change for a friend on his Sportsman 850 just to find out the last guy completely messed up the threads going into the crank case. Any suggestions on how to fix? Thinking helicoil or a self tapping plug. Half the threads are also somehow missing !

Night run to Champagne Rock

Had the great opportunity to once again ride with our dear friend that is battling cancer. :grin After an extremely long week of work and a very long tiring day was at home showered, finished with dinner, and settling in for a Friday evening of relaxing and trying to stay cool. My wife's phone rang and it was our friends wanting to know if we were up for a night ride. They had asked if we wanted to go for a ride on Saturday but we had to turn them down because I had to work. So we asked where they were wanting to go and they named a trail that we had been on a couple times before but never for an evening/night time excursion. We immediately said yes and were loaded up and heading out the door to pick them and their machine up by 7:15 p.m. We arrived at the trail head by 7:45 p.m. and were out of the parking lot and on the trail by 8:00. 4 or so miles into the ride we stopped at our normal viewing point to sit and visit, share a bottle of sparkling cider and wait for the sun to set. It is a beautiful view in the morning and anytime throughout the day, but on a mid-summer evening just before sunset it is spectacular. This was an opportunity we were not going to pass up not knowing how long Julie is going to feel well enough to be able to go out and enjoy the creation we live in.
