Bearings?

Just got a 1996 Sportsman 400 4x4.

Front left wheel bearings appear trash. I can grab the tire and rock it left and right with relative ease making it go from negative camber to positive camber. Where can I find these bearings? Cyclepartsnation, bikebandit or do y'all get it somewhere else?

Hello

What's going on y'all! New guy in Mississippi. Just got an unmolested (and never mud ridden) 1996 Sportsman 400 4x4. Came with a 2,500lb winch installed, good tires, front and rear basket racks and aluminum tri fold ramps! Got it all for $1,000. I think I did really well for this area for sure. All the local kids buy up anything 4x4 and immediately snorkel it and swamp it.

2009 Sportsman 850 power/starting issue

Well I am new Polaris owner and it’s an awesome machine! Except, I have had a few issues which I am not sure if they are related since I’ve never worked on a 4x4. I have lost a lot of power. I also got oil in air filter cabin. I’ve read posts about labirynth valve, dealer had not heard of that issue. Dealer said could be too much oil, so I changed oil and filter. Cleaned air filter and sock. Now spirts of power is back but still not up to par. Can anyone offer any insight?

Polaris 90 Stator

Hi guys, I picked up a 2003 polaris predator 90 for my son. I replaced the stator on it twice because of weak spark. I checked everything as far as obvious short circuts and didn't find anything. What would cause the stator to go bad?

Cooling fan not working all the time

I have a 1000s Scrambler that the cooling fan will stop working then start working . I ordered a temperature sensor that goes in the radiator. is their any thing else I should try.:nerd

New 2018 450 ho spare parts?

Had a Polaris about 10 years ago then got out of riding. I know I need to have a few things on hand just in case like belts and spark plugs. My question is what brand of belts are the "go to brand" now and are people still running ngk plugs?
Also if you have any other things I am not thinking of please let me know. Thanks Patrick

2005 Sportsman 500 top end rebuild

Well unfortunately I got screwed on a deal for a Sportsman 500 that I bought. Only has 453 miles on it and is in great shape...except that it smokes, especially under acceleration. Didn't do it when I bought it for some reason, got it home, added oil (proper amount) and sure enough it smokes. Changed the gas, oil and filter. new plug (which was covered in oil and carbon), and cleaned the carb. Fires right up and runs great, except the smoke. Checked the crankcase tube, clean. So I am guessing it needs new rings, although not sure what happened in only 453 miles to cause it. That and the fact that it idles and runs perfect. So I bought the necessary stuff for a complete top end rebuild including new piston and cylinder head.

So after a long story made longer, my question is do I have to pull the engine to do the swap? I have the factory service manual and a Clymers manual. the Clymers manual says that it can be completed while the engine is in the frame? Just wanted to see what everyones thoughts are and what they have done, along with any tips or tricks.

thanks!!
