Has about 1500miles and 170hrs. Recent oil change including axles.
Adult driven, nice machine. it can come with a snowplow.*
I use the plow on my 850 but it can hook up very easily to the 500 if someone wants it. If not whats it worth by itself.

Identify Polaris winch model made by Warn

I acquired a Polaris winch that is labeled that it is made by Warn. So I test the winch and it works fine. This winch was on a friends Razor 800 that it came with when they bought it. There's no markings on it aside from a serial number on the bottom of the mounting flange. It's grey in color and I was wondering if anyone has any info they could share on what its capacity or maybe a model number or perhaps a PDF owners manual link?

I am going to install it on my '98 Magnum 4x4 so I need to get a mount and wiring kit. I was thinking on getting the Warn Industries 63990 Winch Upgrade Kit to hook it up. Any cons about this wiring kit that anyone would care to comment on or suggest a better way to go for a wiring kit that has the contactor, switch and cables? Thanks for any suggestions.

Touring Model Rear Footrest Bracket

I have a 2017 570 SP Touring that I am planning on putting on larger tires for more ground clearance. Has anyone made any modifications to the rear footrest bracket to accommodate larger tires? Pics please! My wife and I ride together often and need extra ground clearance.

NO ELECTRIC. Any ideas?

My daughters 90 has been sitting for about 2 years. Went today and replaced carb and added a new battery. Went to crank and no power anywhere. I dont remember if the lights turn on from battery or when its running. Checked all connections and all look good. Pull ig switch out and did light tester and seemed good. Jumped one side of the starter solenoid to the other and it cranks. Also, the 2 smaller wires running to the solenoid light up with tester. Just the starter side does not. Also, if I test the wire from the push start button, its hot with a light tester and when I push the button, the tester almost completely goes dark. Any ideas?

how do i know if my clutch is bad?

so i have a 2007 sportsman 500 ho efi. last month i felt the belt start slipping a little so i replaced the original belt (1900 miles) with a factory Polaris belt of the same part number. well i got about 200 miles out of the new belt and it just shredded to bits. now I got a new belt (same exact one) and the wheeler tops out at 20mph, the rpms are wayy to high. driving ti with the clutch cover off it looks like the primary isn't closing all the way and the belt is about half way in the sheaves. but with the atv in park if i gas it the sheaves will close and belt will ride up at the top of the sheeves around 5,000rpm.

i have the clutch off and nothing really seems worn that bad. the bushings on the shaft seem to have a little side to side play but not that much, rollers seem smooth and free but do not have plastic spacers on the sides of them anymore. I also checked the secondary just by twisting the sheaves apart by hand and they spring back just fine.

what do you guys think i need to do here? full clutch rebuild? what are the main contributing factors in the clutch acting like this??

thanks in advance

2007 Sportsman 500 EFI engine cuts off randomly

Hello everyone,

Have a weird problem going on with my 07 sportsman 500 HO EFI, change all fluids from front to back, just got bike and wanted to perform it all myself for my piece of mind.

All went well, added a bazooka ATV speaker wired it direct to battery, it has a quick disconnect like a battery tender, don't use it all the time, plug it in when I plan to use it and when not leave it unplugged.

Seems like ever since I added the speaker the bike will randomly shut off when riding, bogs a little and shuts off, it will start right back up though and runs great, but since adding this speaker tube it has shut off several times.

Anybody ever had this happen? I searched on here and seen the key ring thread, it did have a key ring took it off and only one key in the ignition now, I do notice the key or ignition does need tightened up or should I say it turns some, seems like it wont stay tight or centered all the time?

Guy I bought it from did replace the ECM right before I bought it.

If anyone has any ideas please let me know

Thank you

2018 Sportsman Utility Gearing

Hello everyone, new to the forum and first post!!

I recently purchased an Outlaw 110 for our 2 sons, which they absolutely love, so now we've been bitten by the bug as well. Looking to buy a Sportsman 570 to play around on and came across a great deal on a 2018 570 Utility Edition. I noticed on the website it states that it's "geared down" for work specific functions but I can't find any information about it and how it compares to the gearing on a regular 570. I'm worried that it might be geared so low that it will be screaming at 40mph. I found a couple of posts on here asking something similar but they were never updated. Can anyone shed any light on this matter????

2007 Polaris Sportsman 450 voltage regulator?

Good afternoon all!

I have a 07 Sportsman 450 that randomly shows the flashing battery symbol.

I grabbed the volt meter and measured at the battery. At idle the voltage is 12.4-13. When I rev it up it can go as high as 18 volts.

I am assuming I need a new regulator.....Am I correct?

Suggestions on where to get one?

Thanks all!
Steve
