I recently took apart the carb and cleaned it but when I removed the pilot screw, I didn't count the turns to remove it. In the repair manual it says 1 1/2 turns out.
To get the turns out, and seating the screw, do I tighten until it barely seats and feels pressure or do I need to tighten it as far in and then back out?
Also, the ATV idles really high and I've backed out the idle screw almost as far as it will go and it doesn't change the idle. I havent messed with the air screw to adjust but before I do wanted to see exactly what needed to be adjusted.
I also might have the throttle cable too tight and might need to adjust.
Finally, which screw affects idle speed more, other than the idle screw? The pilot screw or the air screw?
