Need some help!

I have a 2003 Polaris 600 twin, started pouring out of gas with a Little oil mixed out through the air filter box. I thought there was something wrong with my carburetor so I replaced it and it still has the same problem. Can anyone give me some insight on what the problem could be?

Gen 1 800 cams

Anyone have information on needing to install low valve seals with griffin performance gen 2 cams? I have contacted him and he said it’s ( a precaution ). Pretty much said since my renegade is an 09 model the casting has more room. I’m assuming that’s for the cam tunnel it self for clearance. Also told me that lots of guys he knows run these cams without the short valve seals with no issues. First major mods to the bike so I wanna get some feedback if I can. Any thoughts?

Just bought the kolpin outfitter rear box

Hope it fits the outlander max well.
230$+tax on amazon canada, pretty good deal considering the size vs the can am boxes. Good reviews for it. (half the cost of the large canam box...) Can't really justify 500$ CAD on a cargo box, seriously, even 230$ is much more than the 50$ I paid for my large toolbox that I had previously on the other atv.

But this one will fit helmets and lots of gear so it's worth it IMO.

Hope it fits the outlander max well. Will mount using u bolts or large washers. Once it's there I'm never removing it anyway.

Will report.

What do the two toggle switches on the speedometer pod at 4&8 o’clock below the spedo dial do ? I can’t find it in any manuals.

Won’t shift into gear!

Hey guys,

2018 Outlander 850 MAX.

Bike has been sitting for a while after a HARD/MUDDY ride. It was cleaned up and put to bed for about a month.

I just started it up drove down to the gas station and fueled it. When I went to leave I was already in high gear but the bike wouldn't budge. When I shift to N, L, H or R it doesn't change the display on the dash. I am unable to shift it into park.

With the shifter in any position I am able to roll the bike around, no amount of humping or coercing/rolling will get it to go into gear.

I checked the linkage and it looks fine no bends and it appears to be shifting on the gearbox properly.

I am halfway through popping off the clutch cover to take a look and was wondering if anybody else has seen this.

Thanks

2014 Sportsman 400 won’t rev in low range

So we went on a family ride yesterday and my daughters 2014 Sportsman 400 was bogging down and losing power (not in the electrical sense) while going up hill. We made a wrong turn on an advanced trail that was steepish and rocky so she opted to let me take it up the hill. Glad she did bc about half way up it starts losing power. I had to fiddle with the choke to get it to rev up and it continued to do this even after we got to the top. So we put it in high and the problem almost vanishes aside from a couple of brief sputters. Any ideas before I start taking things apart?

I Think I’m Coming Back to Polaris (Questions & Introduction)

I'll try to keep this short and sweet but what's up guys! I'm 29 years old in south Alabama near the gulf coast. Grew up on a Honda 90 as a kid. When I turned 12/13 I got a Honda 350 rancher. My uncle when I was really young bricked the local Polaris dealership and so he had some mid 1990's Polaris Sportsman so I sort of grew up on those along with Honda Foreman. In 2004 when I was 15 I got my first Polaris.. A 2004 Polaris Sportsman 500 Camp. It was an awesome machine. Unfortunately during hurricane Ivan I believe, it was at the dealership being serviced and somehow many ATV's were stolen (mine included) so they let me choose between the new model at the time, 2005 Sportsman 500 or upgrade to a 2004 Polaris Sportsman 700 at no additional charge.

I chose the 700. And what a machine it was. Loved the power and suspension of it so much. I can still feel it when I type this. I had it for 4 years or so. Sold it, then a year later got a 2008 Polaris Sportsman 500 Camp. Had it for a few years and unfortunately it had quite a bit of engine problems (lemon) so I got a 2011 Yamaha Grizzly 700 /w power steering. Loved that machine. Had it for about 3 years and while I was gone to a friends wedding in Birmingham Alabama I left it with my dad for the weekend and when I got home Sunday afternoon IT WAS STOLEN TOO. Never found it. Didn't have insurance on it (first atv we didn't have it on) so I've been without an ATV for almost 4 full years now and it has about killed me.

So with Honda failing to innovate (keep hearing they have an 850 coming in 2020 but I'll believe it when I see it, Yamaha failing to go bigger than a 700 (they went back to a 686cc for their 700 Grizzly in 2019 down from the 706cc they had from 2016-2018. I've been yearning for something more. Sometime within the next few months I'm hoping to get a 2018 or 2019 Polaris Sportsman 850 SP Camp with power steering. When do the 2019's come out and is there any expectation for some changes to be made? I'm sure they'll be announcing them in the next month?

My final thought is this (I didn't intend for this to be this long)... While I liked the reliability and the option to choose between 2wd/limited slip 4wd/and diff lock 4wd on the Grizzly 700 I had, I give the nod in just about every other category to the Sportsman. There's just no other feeling like punching the throttle on a Polaris and the feel of how they soak up bumps with that legendary suspension.

I'm sure I'll be blown away if/when I get an 850 Sportsman. Crazy to think it'll be 10 years since I've had a Polaris. I've done my research but you don't really know/feel how much they've changed until you drive one. I hope the 850 will be reliable. I doubt I'll be able to drive it too entirely much due to work and I'll definitely get a warranty with it.

Would love to hear the thoughts from those who have 850's.

Sorry for the essay guys I hope this is the forum to be at for all things Polaris. Cheers!

Need help please!!!

Dad was fixing my quad and thought that he was drawing gearbox oil on quad . Took out spring loaded plug at bottom of stator cover, oil came out. Replaced the plug the continued to take out the plastic grey plug from middle of stator cover and put some oil in it until I came up and stopped everything. What has he now wrecked or what do I need to do to fix what he has done that was not the gear box at all!!! Please any help would be greatly appreciated
