2005 Sportsman 500 HO

I have a 2005 Sportsman 500 that has both rear axles stuck in the rear Diff - Both myself and a shop have tried EVERYTHING to get at least one out with no luck - My last option is to replace the entire rear diff with a used one - How hard is it to install the entire rear differential ? Any special tools needed ?

Glad to be here and most thankful for all the info that has saved me a ton of time and headaches. I bought an O8 Renny 800 from a friend a couple years ago and it has become an addiction getting in that mud! The power! Thing is monster! Well my monster broke and it's time to educate myself much much more. If anyone knows of some good riding parks or trails in Michigan id love to hear. Thanks everyone!

Voltage regulator?

Anyone have the voltage regulator on the 570 work then not work then work? Sign of a dirty connection or is it on its way out usually?

In need of motor.

I didnt think finding a new motor would be as difficult of a choice but after doing some homework I realized theres some different routes to choose from. My now seized 08 800 renny will be a learning project for myself. So im in search of a drop in replacement. What ive come to find is that there are some universal years? I have read that the 09 800r is the setup I would gain from the most but have to upgrade airbox or intake? While the 08 has something that should be incorporated so you have the best of both years? Cam change? Im in Michigan and I havent found anyone that has rebuilds or a good quality used motor that has been gone through. Nobody that makes me feel confident because I am lacking some serious knowledge in the repair area of this. When I seen this quad I had to have it and it.changed my life after riding it...it's an addiction that im willing to afford and most certainly needing to dive in and learn my upkeep essentials and engine knowledge. It's light years away from my knowledge about lifted golf carts! So im humbled and greatful if anyone could point me in a direction or a package setup I need to purchase. As of now I've been on eBay looking at Motors I know that's not the only source. I will be having a hand getting the new one in and putting any upgrades on that are needed if I buy a stock motor. Right now it has snorkels and hmf slip on. My motor seized after a hard day of road riding on 29.5 terms. When I finally got to the mud it started knocking so I know it got hot. I feel like I had some cooling problems with this motor and if I could address that and also I have read that I may need a tuner cuz it may have leaned it out having the snorkels and exhaust combo. That's where I'm at guys any help would be greatly appreciated

Renegade 800 XXC another annoying problem

Hello guys i have another anoying problem again.. i drive around for like 2 hours and then my throttle is cutting out like i dont get any gas it goes away and comes back if i let stand for about 10-20 minutes it's gone and works again hours what could that problem be? i think it could be because my tank is maybe getting to hot? i installed a new cover with a vent system on my tank and will today add some heat cover on the tank and i also installed a new air filter & cleaned the throttle valve.

What i did so far and think it could be:

Gas pump or filter bad | I checked the pump it comes enough out, filter i did not check yet.
Crank sensor | not check yet
Throttle sensor | not check yet
-----------------------------------------

added a valve/gland cleaner to the gas
added new gas
added heat cover for tank
added vent cover on tank
checked cvt & belt


I hope someone has an idea what this problem could be like i said it only happens about driving for atleast 1 hour or so then when i let stand for 10-15 min its gone for the next hour.

I have a stick 05 scrambler and was wondering what color primary spring to get for more bottom end like acceleration and pull wheelers better only rly want to change the primary for now

Secondary clutch spring only?

I have a 2017 xmr 850, I actually didn't mind the stock clutching with the stock 30 backs. Now I have 29.5 outlaw 2s with msa wheels, and I've noticed I've lost some of the get up and go with the heavy outlaws. Was wondering if it would help just changing the secondary spring instead of just getting the whole kit. I'm saving for a primary that's why I don't want the whole kit. Just something to help until I get one.
