Good afternoon, gentlemen! I'm not extremely familiar with Polaris engines, but here's my story. It's a 2013 Sportsman 800. My buddy brought it over for a knocking noise. I found one of the lower rod bearings was shot. I ordered a complete rebuild kit and installed it. The kit was a new crank with rods, pistons, bearings, gaskets, lifters and water pump. The engine ran great for 3 hours and now has a lower end knock. It sounds pretty bad. I prelubed the engine and went through the break in procedure. I plan on opening it up and see what failed tonight. I'm a mechanic by trade and have rebuilt numerous engines. Is their something with these polaris engines I overlooked? Any input would be appreciated. Thanks?

Have a 2016 Sportsman 570, was running fine, no issues, has around 50 hours on it, less than 500 miles. Now it won’t stay running, it randomly fires and sometimes runs for a few seconds then dies and sometimes it cranks and cranks but won’t even start, it’s very random when it happens. It’s even started and ran for a good 10-15 seconds before dying. It has spark, new gas, new battery, throwing no codes. I’m at a complete loss. Any ideas?

I have a 2017 outlander 650 XT, that needs brake pads. Was wondering if anyone had tried the Maxx brand brake pads from royal distributing?

Any feedback?

Where in Ontario Canada can you get the EBC severe duty or race driven pads?

a Outlander 1000 91hp vs a X3 152hp version in a flat tar drag race. Was curious in a straight line how bad this would end up with the weight difference vs HP

Is the hd5 underpowered vs the hd8 ...I know the hd10 has plenty of power but how does it compare power wise to 500&800?

Hello,

I have a 2018 Outlander XT-P 1000 with the audio cargo box. I mount my iPhone on the RAM Mount and connect to bluetooth. Music will play, all is good....however, when I hit the throttle and begin to move it drops the connection. When I'm still or when the engine is off it will play indefinitely.

Anyone ever encounter this type of weirdness?

I bought LED bulb replacements for my wolverine, plug and play for like $35 but for the Outlander all I see is a $600 replacement. This seems out of line. Has anyone found any other options for plus and play replacement for the stock housing?

Hi,

I bought a sportsman 90 with no battery. To test the starter motor I connected a 12v battery I had but not a great connection. (Starter did not work) Now I noticed the dash lights are not working. I assume I have popped a fuse - anyone know where or have a wiring diagram / manual for the bike?
