2 piece airbox leaking and fine dust making its way thru to my engine

Has anyone had their air box warp and let fine dust thru to their engine? Its a 2 piece design, factory sealed air box. It is leaking between the seams where the 2 pieces join and is supposed to be sealed. I am debating on buying a new one or seal the heck out of it with some crazy plastic adheasive. Is this common? Anyone out there have an older bike that this happened to? This bike has been nothing but problems since new.. i have 4500km on it now. knock on wood, I never had any engine problems but everything else from; bushings, ujoints, air suspension, 2 shock rebuilds, front diff was loose from new, coolant hoses rubbing and wearing out, Oil leaks, diff seal leaks, air leaks, relays and the list keeps on goin.... i barley ride it... there is the exception of bearings, cv boots, an axle do to water, mud and the 30's but I cant seem to ever catch a break.

Rear timing chain tensioner leaking oil….tricks?

Hi guys, I just discovered my rear timing chain tensioner is leaking oil. I have not yet determined if it's coming from the plug o-ring or the housing o-ring. Thinking about replacing them both along with the housing and be done with it. My question is, how difficult is this to do? It seems access area is limited for the rear one and that is my concern. I'm thinking I'm going to have to at least remove the rear exhaust so I can fit my hand in there. Removing the rear CVT housing would be even better, but I don't think that's necessary, is it? Any tricks/advice for those who have done this before would be great. I already tightened the plug, we'll see if that helps. It seemed like it was already snug, so I didn't want to over-tighten it.

thanks in advance!

Severe Clock Drift on 2012 Sportsman Browning 850 EPS

My 2012 Sportsman Browning edition 850 EPS, which came with the fully digital instrument cluster, has always had severe clock drift since the day I got it. I used to reset it regularly (every month it'd be off by hours), but that got so frustrating that I no longer bother and just scowl at it every time I glance down.

Are there any hidden menus, switches, or dials behind the panel which could be used to regulate the clock?

Utah ATV/UTV Heaven

We are on vacation traveling across Utah. Very nice state with some good looking towns; St George, Hurricane, Richland, etc. Salt Lake City is very good too.

So I'm traveling I-70 and I spot three side by sides on a gravel road running parallel to the interstate. I was at 65 and they were faster than me. I see them pull up into a park area where their trucks and trailers were. I didn't see, but I bet they had street legal license plates. I was surprised to see a UTV at that high of speed, maybe over 70.

Then I stop for fuel. This UTV turns left and drives up to the convenience store. I bet they were out for a nice drive on back mountain roads. See photo. I bet this scene is ubiquitous to folks living in Utah. We all have to get used to these goofy looking vehicles licensed for street use. They cause no harm operated responsibly, just like a scooter, motorcycle, or Corvette.

I have not seen any street legal ATVs on this trip yet. I'll soon be in my home state of Colorado where there are no street legal laws, just local jurisdictions that establish ATV routes or zones. All the states around Colorado are street legal ATV states. I guess I moved to the wrong state.

2015 SP 850 EPS problem

I just bought a nice low mile 850, the 1st time out I cranked it up to 50 mph and the power assist was not cutting back. It was so twitchy at speed had to keep it under 30mph. I have a 2009 that the faster you go the less assist you have, did they change this on the newer models or could something be wrong?

Lock and ride anchor stuck

Any suggestions on removing a stuck anchor on a Polaris general? Put a bed extender on today and apparently tightened one of the anchors too tight. Went in with a little pressure but it won’t come out.

Magnum 325 fan and temp light

Good morning, my fan and temp light seem to want to come on after ten minutes of riding around. It doesn’t seem hot, would that be the thermistor or could it get too hot that quick ?

Thank you for any help
