More Autosport7 Bling

Not really bling, but had some custom graphics made by Spider Graphix. Sent them image files for the logos I wanted incorporated, just all those I have parts from that I feel build quality products and don’t mind showing a little support for.
These ones are the Footwell Graphics.
Spider Graphix was referred to me by Rick Cecco himself as they made his for his Scrambler.
I think they did a great job and fitment was perfect.
I’d highly recommend to anyone looking for custom graphics.
I know stickers and or bling isn’t everyone’s thing, when done tastefully, I dig it.

Fox shocks preload?

I installed the fox shocks on my 2018 650XT. Haven't even rode it yet. I did notice the front end dive when braking when I pulled it out of the dealer. I have read and been told that the foxes are a huge improvement.

I left the preload as they came out of the box. The rears are close to maxed out. The fronts have about 2" left. Since the both the fronts came the same, as did the rears, I figured there must be a reason for it.

This quad will be used for hunting. No mudding like I see a lot of here. I only go thru mud when there are no other options. No lifts or larger tires will be used either.
I am looking for a nice ride, but also the ability to carry a hefty load. The racks will have weight on them more often than not there will be guns or bows and cases most of the time, and I come in around 235#.

I will be out on my first ride this weekend. Just wondering from those that have BTDT, what their experiences were.

My first quads were a pair of 2004 Arctic Cat 650 V2s. I remember on that forum back then, all of the complaining about brake pads, belts, broken axles, etc... With almost 20K on those quads, none of those issues ever cropped up for me.

I am hoping that I have the same experiences with this Can am

My take is that many on these forums push there quads pretty hard.

2001 Trail Boss 325 Carburetor problems.

Okay so I recently picked up a tb for $500. It needed some brake work new rear hubs and had idling problems. I have everything fixed minus the carb problems. The original Mikuni has all the screws totally stripped and unable to get them out. So I bought a replacement carburetor and put it on. Everything looks identical and it went right in. It fixed the idle perfectly but everything else was crap. Any sudden throttle will stall it out, but if I ease into it I can get to 3/4 throttle but then I can tell it’s running very rich. I’ve tried cleaning the carb adjusting the needle and checked the main jet is the same size as factory. Lost on where to go from here. I think it’s running rich but don’t know how to fix it. Any help appreciated.

Engine parts for HL850

I have 2016 HL sportsman 850. The engine is currently disassembled from a continuation of problems. I have decided to completely rebuild the bottom end of this engine with new parts. My question is where can i find aftermarket parts? I have already priced everything through polaris and wanted to check into other options. Thanks in advance for any help

Suspension work on a specialty application

Hello,

I’m a new member here and want to jump right in. I do coyote and hog contol on farms and had the opportunity to pick up a ‘02 (I believe) Sportsman 700 Twin at a killer price. It was used at a marina by a friend, just to go around the property. The only thing it ever hauled was a weed sprayer. Never abused or run in the mud. That said, the a arm/suspension bushings are shot.

I know very little about quads, but am a millwright so working on it is no issue. I have since transformed it into a night coyote/hog hunting platform. I would like to get the suspension squared away now.

I would imagine a set of HD springs on the rear would be a good idea as well.

What brand bushings for the A arms & such is best, as well as who makes the best HD springs for the modifications I have done to it? While it looks like I added a ton of weight, it really isn’t. That pelican case will not haul a lot of weight, I just want it to protect my calls, night vision and thermals... I also plan on adding IR driving lights as well:)

Any help or info is greatly appreciated.

Also, while I know it is a different topic section, what is the go-to muffler silencer on a 700 like this.
