1997 Explorer 400 wont Run

Okay so im a honda guy and im new to 2 strokes and polaris in general. I just bought my brother a 97 Explorer 400 4x4, when i was looking at it it was a little hard to start but once it did it ran good so i assumed maybe it needed a carb cleaning. Well got it home rode it for a little bit and all of a sudden it died on him and wouldnt start, checked reeds, one looked a little burnt and was bent up a little, didnt think it was enough to make it not run. Have good start and im getting fuel coming back through carb air filter side. It had a huge back fire through intake that, anybody know what my issue is? If what im saying isnt making sense just tell me and ill try and explain it better

wireless winch control

Hi.
I am almost thru with installing all of my accessories on my 2018 650 XT...

The instructions on this stuff leaves a lot to be desired. But I have been able to overcome all of that till now.

I cannot find the connections that the wireless remote harness pugs into.
I figured that maybe follow the wires from the handle bar control might link up with them.
But I have been unable to see much without taking a lot of things apart, which probably isn't needed.

Anyone done this?

TIA

97 scrambler 400 4wd issue

Messing around with the scrambler in the backyard with 4 Wheel Dr. off I get the rear tires to spin and after two or three spins front tires engage could this be because of a bad toggle switch I have an aftermarket toggle switch installed

2000 Polaris Sportsman 500 Front CV shaft issue

guys i am putting my CV shaft back on my machine and i cant seem to get the splines from the CV shaft to line up with the holes in the front differential shaft and the hole in the CV shaft. They are off just a touch and this wont allow me to get the roll pin back in. Did i end up with the wrong shaft? It came with the machine and he said it was ordered. I tried moving it to the other end. Should i just try a different CV shaft? Maybe the splines aren't correct? Thanks for the help

2001 DS 650 water pump question.

Hi all, I just purchased this Can Am a few weeks ago. Really only got it out 1 time cause its cold where I live.
The temperature was about 40f, stopping occasionally to read the map. It was running great, then started to die out slowly until it stopped completely. I was driving about 30 mph.
While sitting there try to get started, I noticed the radiator and lower hose were not hot. I'm suspecting it has to do with the thermostat, radiator cap or the impeller drive gear.
Anyone have an experience with this? I drove it a couple miles today and noticed the radiator and hose were not hot again.
Thanks, T

New to Can Am

My son and just picked up 2 new 2018 DPS 570's . Love the bikes and love power. We demo'ed a few different atv's and once we got on these we were hooked. Looking forward to many years of fun. I wanted the orange originally and my son wanted the green. They didn't have a green in the DPS model in stock so they sold us a camo for the same price. He fell in love with the orange so I settled for the camo(lol)

tube to nowhere

I was crawling under my machine just checking stuff out and found a little clear tube coming out of the transmission about 3-5 inches away from the front driveshaft, this tube is about 8-10 inches long and is zip tied to a part of the frame under the right foot peg. My question is, what is this for? I'm hoping its not something that will let water in and wreck stuff. 2018 outlander 850 xt

Scrambler brakes

I’ve got a 2015 scrambler 850 and I’m looking to add a brake caliper to the right rear wheel. I know it’s a “straight axle” so it’s not really nessicary but I don’t like feeling the slop I’m the rear diff every time I stab the pedal. Is there any reason I couldn’t use the right rear caliper from a 1000? The are both the same piston diameter and I think I would only need to replace the hoses.
