Hi thanks for adding me to the Can Am Forum! I'm a proud new owner of a 2013 XMR 1000 Outlander Camo edition which I bought three months ago and so far couldn't be happier, this beast just blasts through everything! I've been riding Ski-doo's for the last 30 years but done praying for snow then having to trailer everywhere! The last 4 wheeler I owned was a 1986 250 Honda fourtrax that my father bought when I was 14 so yes showing my age I'm 45 now and feel like a kid riding this thing!
Secondary Clutch I’m a Newbie
Hey guys, I'm new to can ams and I recently bought a used 2016 outlander max 850. I changed the belt on the cvt and noticed that the secondary Clutch spins in neutral and park. When in gear it doesn't until sprin until you give it the gas. If I jack the rear wheels off the ground and put it in gear the secondary spins along with the wheels. Is this normal?
what size winch
I have a 02 500 HO Scrambler and was wondering what size winch I should buy. I am not a riding in any deep mud trails or swamps. I ride with two other non 4x4 quads thought it might come in handy.

Break in
Got out and put an easy 50 on it today...Wow! I'm REALLY gonna like this! :grin
Must have overfenders though for sure...even with stock skins. We often go way out deep and stay at least overnight and sometimes two or three days. Its just not cool for all your gear to be muddy when you get ready to make camp for the night.

What mod next for 570 sp?
Hi everyone, new to forum and giving this a try for some feed back. My primary atv is a 2015 sportsman 570 sp. I use it for plowing snow, yard work and tight woods trail riding with occasional 2 up and a little mud here and there. I have enjoyed it stock for a couple years now only adding chains on rear to plow in the winter. The machine only has 80hrs and I keep it meticulously maintained.
Recently installed some mods as follows:
New tires on stock rims, ITP terra cross 26" 9×14 front 11x14 rear. (Tires are 1" wider then stock on borh ends now. )1" wheel spacers. 2" highlifter kit. K&N air filter. Fender flares for widened tires and stance.
Just installed all of this and test rode. Front tires at 4psi and rears 5psi. Rear end seems a little squirly under power coming into midrange but this may just be getting used to the lift. Ground clearance is awesome and tires are great so far. Tires are close to stock diameter but obvious weight gained from width. I lost some mid range power and top end. I can live with it but would rather get it to how it performed before.
My question is what my next step should be. Should I install sport utility clutch kit? Or slip on pipe with fuel optimizer? I will likely end up doing both eventually but looking for opinions on the most bang for the next step.
Thanks

XMR Rims and Tires
Anyone know what the cost of buying the stock can am tires and rims to the 1000xmr is? I like the itp cryptids as well as the stock beadlocks and wanted to put a set on my 1000xxc and wanted to know if it might just be chaper to find aftermarket.
scrambler 90 year?
How do I tell what year this quad is? Where is the vin?
I picked this quad up used and it currently isnt running. It has been beat up a little. Rear fender is cracked where the battery sits so that needs to be replaced or repaired.
Also, in looking at the wiring harness, after I removed the rear fender, it looks like the inline fuse housing isnt connected on the rear end. Is this the low oil warning? Previous owner said the battery is bad that needs replaced too
