Me and my fiancé have found a brand new 2018 sportsman 850 SP for 9500$ out the door costs. but we don't know very much about quads, we have never owned one but we have been riding for years. Is the 850SP a good solid quad? I'm looking for reliability. Of course I know there is some maintence on any quad you will own but I am asking more towards duration of it lasting. I don't wanna spend 9500$ if the quad is gonna fail within a few months. Just wanna hear some people's thoughts about the 2018 850 SP, is it worth it? Is it reliable? Is the 850 better then the 570 as far as reliability goes? I know of course the 850 has better specs then 570 but I am focusing on being reliable. Hope to hear from you guys!
FS: 14” Hiper Sidewinder DBL Beadlocks Wheels (NIB)
I run a Polaris Scrambler 1000.
I purchased (4) wheels (Hiper Sidewinders) for the Scrammy, (2) were right with (2) being wrong. I’ve since purchased (2) others to complete my set.
I do not have 100% confirmation of this yet, but from what I know to this point the (2) with wrong bolt pattern are apparently for a Can Am. The box they came in even claim 4/156 so they were clearly boxed wrong.
In any event, I’m posting them here to see if there is any interest once I find out exactly what machines they fit.
They are 14x7 and are brand new with all oem hardware. I’ll also confirm offset, but I believe they are 5+2.
Next post will have actual pictures and confirmation of fitment.
These are being offered anywhere from $359 and up per wheel from what I can see. I’d sell both for $300 + shipping.
I have same username over on Polarisatvforum.com if you guys want to check in on me as this is my first post.

Jumping a Sportsman 570 EFI (video)
Hello friends,
This past weekend I took a ride on a friend's Sportsman 570 and along the way I found some fun small jumps. I'm impressed at how nicely the 570's suspension soaks up these small jumps.

Battery drain
Hello,
Last September we bought a 570 Sportsman EPS for my wife. Brand new, 0 miles. Since day one, we have had battery issues. So I replaced the factory battery with a sealed battery from Advance Auto Parts. Completely charged the new battery prior to install. If the bike sits for more than a day, this battery is also dead. There are NO aftermarket electrical accessories added to her machine. Only new wheels and tires. Only thing not factory on the electrical system is a battery tender plug connected to the terminals under the headlight. I have the plug connected to the ground post (far left looking at the bike) and constant hot (far right looking at the bike). The middle post is unused.
What could be causing this battery drain? We turn use the handlebar on/off/on switch as well as using the key.
Thanks in advance for any help you can give.

Help High/Low Beam Issue
I have a 2017 Can-Am Outlander Max XT 1000 and have a question about the high/low beam headlights. When I switch the high beam on, the low beam bulbs turn off. Should the low beam stay on when the high beam is switched on? I can't say for sure if it was like this from day one or not because I haven't noticed. I do have a friend with a 2014 and both high and low beams are on when high beam is switched to the on position. Is there a problem with the switch or somewhere in the circuit? I know they changed the switch at some point, not sure if it was 2015 or 2016. Thanks for any input.

Fuel type for Defender HD8
Hi, I have a question re: which type of fuel I should run in my HD8. I have been running non-ethanol 91 octane, but wondering if it's necessary. Are these engines designed to burn 87 ethanol blended fuels??
2014 outlander xmr 1000 air suspension
So I bought a 2014 can am xmr outlander 1000 this past week. Love the bike. Now for the problem. It has the air ride suspension. It works in the rear all the time. The front works when it wants to. I don’t see any leaks. Is there anything I can do other than buying new shocks? The bike has 800 miles and 110 hours. Also what’s the cheapest way to delete the air suspension? What shocks work?

No difference between 570 sportsman and 1000xp?
Hello guys. I’ve been looking for an polaris to fit my height-weight. And i checked 570 sportsman and 1000xp’s dimensions , then realized they were almost the same. It goes like this;
Polaris 570 sportsman
2108 x 1219 x 1219
Polaris sportsman 1000cc
2114 x 1209 x 1289
I have questions about these,
I’m 5’’9 and 105 pounds. (Woman), so i dont actually need the most powerful engine and i dont think i can be able to use it anyways. Im just wondering that, if 570cc and 1000cc’s are the same looking vehicles, why are there huge price differences? Just the torque, performance? If cc only means the “engine size” im gonna go for the 570 . But if these dimensions are facts and they are actually looking the same, im not going to consider cc’s and buy the 570. shouldnt 1000cc be bigger? And why are they literally the same? Thanks!

Sportsman 570 auxiliary plug
Hi guys, you have probably seen this done a million times before but I added this 12 volt waterproof socket to my 570 today. I figured if I needed to charge my phone when I'm out hunting, so I installed this to keep my phone or whatever else is charging out of the elements rain/dust/mud. I attached it to the side like that because there is nothing in behind there to interfere with.
