2017 Sportsman 850 SP, New LED lights busbar and harness question

I am looking at hooking up some Rigid LED lights (D-Series PRO Driving) on the Polaris ultimate bumper. Here is my dilemma. Everything I see on Polaris parts websites is it says I need to add a busbar, however, as far as I can tell, there is no busbar for the 850s. Everything I see says that you hook accessories like the winch, directly to the battery. So, I am curious where I am supposed to get the busbar and then where I would install it. Any advice would be appreciated.

Second thing, the wiring harness. The Polaris dealer is saying I should just use a single lightbar harness made by Polaris, however, that doesn't match what Rigid seems to recommend for most their 2 pack pod lights. I can't find their specific harness for these ones (which is part of the problem), but the harnesses for their other pod lights like Duallys and D2 have a harness that was made for two LED lights, not one. Again, any advice on this part would be appreciated too.

Thanks for your time.

Do they all have bad starter gear issues?

98 Polaris Xpress 300

I am on my second starter and second starter gear. Seems like the gear locked up, and won't spin out again. Flywheel spins with ease. Start it up using pull starter. Shut it down, gear still won't spin out and engage the flywheel. (doesn't spin at all now)

Does / will this damn thing always have starter gear issues? I mean, I have another brand new gear but what the hell!

2001 Polaris sportsman 90

Runs and idles and will throttle up with rear ended jacked in the air but under load won’t get out of its own way. New carb and rebuilt old carb and still the same. New coil and air filter . Fuel seems to be flowing fine. Compression 115. Pulled cap off gas tank seems to be venting fine . New belt also . I suspect stator or Cdi or throttle switch but not sure . Also I unhooked oil tank and am premixing. Will this tank unplugged limit Cdi function ? I’m stuck please help. Also new plug .

Twist Throttle

We are a family of dirt bike riders. We did get a 98 Polaris 300 Xpress and everyone's thumb gets tired. I know people advise against this but this is what we want to do.

The reason I am here is because my wheeler has a split in the cable and only one end goes to the carb and the other goes to the tranny. I want to use this motion pro but it only has 1 cable. It says it is compatible, but I call bullshit. I don't see how it would work.

Does anyone have any input on this regarding actual assembly (and not trying to talk me out of it :grin). I also do not want the weird thumb throttle slip on or twist thumb slip on thingee. Just want to straight up convert it.

Thanks in advance for your help!

XMR 570 Wobble

Hey guys, I'm new to 4 wheels, but I've always been a trail boss on dirtbikes. Recently, I purchased a 2016 Outlander L Xmr 570. I have only rode it twice, both were light trail rides. I had noticed a slight wobble, on the front right wheel. I was told upon purchasing that the previous owner had ridden a lot on pavement because the tread was worn in an odd fashion. I took their word for it as they do routine inspections of all inventory before listing them for sale and figured the wobble was due to the knobby treads. Upon further evaluation, I noticed a few things were not symmetrical from right to left. First, the front right shock caught my eye, and then I noticed certain plastics have the rivet fasteners missing and that the plastics don't seem to align with their anchor points on the brackets. The plastic skid plate attached to the frame seemed wacky, but I assumed it was debris (rocks, sticks, mud, etc,.) that was wedged up between it and the framework...but then I noticed a 2" x 4" sticker on the frame that reads "VOID" all over it. Now I'm worried I bought a quad with a bent frame!! I thought this wobble could be an easy a-arm fix, but I don't see any damaged hardware whatsoever. Things just seem "out of line" in a sense. Does anyone know of any similar issues or have any advice? Again, I'm new to 4 wheels and have never worked on one...but I have grown up turning wrenches on bikes my whole life.

Outlander L XMR 570 “Void Sticker” Found on frame!

I had noticed a slight wobble, mostly on the front right wheel, but I was told upon purchasing the quad that the previous owner must have ridden it a lot on pavement because the tread was worn in an odd fashion. I took their word for they do routine inspections of all inventory before posting for sale and figured the wobble was due to the knobby treads. Upon further evaluation and checking around the bike myself, I notice a few things were not symmetrical from right to left. First, the front right shock caught my eye, and then I noticed certain plastics have the rivet fasteners missing and that the plastics don't see to align with their anchor points on the brackets. The plastic skid plate attached to the frame seemed a bit odd, but I assumed it was debris (rocks, sticks, mud, etc,.) that was wedge up between the frame and plastic guard...but then I noticed a 2" x 4" sticker on the frame that reads "VOID" all over it. Now I'm worried I bought a quad with a bent frame!! I thought this wobble could be an easy a-arm fix, but I don't see and damage to any of the hardware whatsoever..things just see "out of line" in a sense.
