Stuck rear hub

Good morning. I have a 2005 Sportsman 800. I need to change the bearing in the rear left wheel. I've gotten the wheel off, but the hub seems to be stuck/frozen/rusted to the axle. I simply can not get it to come off. I have tried pounding on the hub and on the axle and it just isn't budging. Do you happen to have any suggestions on how I might be able to get the hub off? Is there a tool that might help me with this. Thanks much for your help.

After all this work

So after bringing a 2004 sportsman 600 back from the dead (new batt, new fuel pump, new starter and bendix, new throttle and choke cables and a brand new carburetor) i have finally gotten it to run.
It idles great, however it bogs down real bad when given any throttle. But it’s a brand new carb so it can’t be the jets right? My spark plugs looked okay. Any advice? I’d read maybe it’s an exhaust gasket leak? Stumped.

Power Steering Troubles

While riding my 2017 Sportsman 850 SP about a week ago I got a check engine light, when I checked to see what it was it showed a 520230 31 code. I looked in the owner's manual and this code was not in it but some similar showed to be power steering issues. If it is a power steering issue then why didn't that light come on? Also the power steering never stopped working but I have noticed that if I hit a lot of water the steering sometimes becomes shaky until it dries out I guess. So does anyone know for sure what the code is and how to make it go away? Thanks in advance.

Sportsman 335 light issues

I just purchased a 99 sportsman 335 from a buddy at work. He had a friends kid working on the quad for him because he had electrical issues believed to be in the handlebar switch. Long story short I'm guessing the kid hooked the battery up backwards or something and shorted out some parts.

I just replaced the relay module because it had a hole(from shorting out I believe burnt) and replaced the battery. I also replaced the handlebar switch since he said light would previously work when jiggling the wires and override would need to be pushed anytime to get it to run. Checked all the bulbs 2 lower headlight and taillight and all three burnt out. Decided to check battery voltage running and was over 17. So replaced voltage regulator and replaced bulbs.

Currently I have no high beam (pod light) and no indicator lights working on the dash. (high beam indicator) reverse/neutral light. Funny thing is I believe the original high beam light was not burnt out. When I turn the headlight switch to highbeam it shuts off the engine. I'm guessing its grounding out? Could have he fried anything else? Motor runs great on low beams. I have a complete harness and extra rev limiter and I believe I have a ECM(id have to double check if it came with my harness). Would a blown fusible link affect lights? Any suggestions?

I would think I could test indicator lights if I removed them by running power off a 12volt battery to the light? At least rule out if the bulbs were bad also.

Thanks for any input hope to dive in more tomorrow

2007 sportsman 800 efi front diff

New to this forum and to my 800 stealth black ATV. I have little experience wrenching on atvs but know my way around a workshop. I have owned my bike for about a year and used only for plowing snow in Wisconsin so far. I had it out this weekend to mount the Ground hog max disc tiller on it over the weekend and noticed a large puddle which I thought was melting snow. Closer look and I have 3 of 5 of the front diff housing bolts were snapped off and one was loose enough to turn by touch. I was able to reverse one out and replace it and I replaced the loose one but the other two are blocked by the frame and will require me to remove the mounting bolts and pull the entire unit. Two questions: Am I looking at a larger issue here, why would these just snap? Is this a simple enough task or should I take it in to my dealer?
I sincerely appreciate any help/advice.

Shifting Problem 2013 Sportsman 500 HO

I have a 2013 Sportsman 500 HO. I’ve never had any issues with it so I’m new to working on it. In high or low gear the engine revs up very high before feeling like it shifts into high gear. Power is great machine runs extremely good. I took belt/clutch housing off and inspected it. Seems ok. Also checked transmission fluid and it’s topped off. Anyone have any ideas on why it’s shifting rough.
Thanks in advance for your help
