1997 scrambler 400 identify a cut line

I just bought this scrambler yesterday and I have found a cut line, looks like maybe a cable is supposed to go through it, runs from under the gas tank to a item on the front of the motor that has another line that runs to the carb, did this have something to do with the oil injection? That has been deleted. Thing runs great, cold start is hard. It I know how to fix that. Just trying to restore this so it will be solid, thx for any and all help

New Powder Coated Bumper and Dash Plate

Ran across a great deal on the Baja bumper Polaris offers on Ebay and I just couldnt pass it up. It came in just a raw aluminum finish and I knew the first time I hit the red dirt it would never look good again so I went with a gloss white powder coat. Altogether I have less than $50 invested in the bumper after selling my stock one and I think it really helps to set it apart.

The dash plate is my own design and is also aluminum done in the same white powder coat. I really wanted to avoid cutting my plastics up to install the display so I came up with this and had it cut on a water jet for minimal finishing time. I had a few extras cut being I had to pay for an hour on the water jet, those are all done in gloss black.

New member and owner in Virginia here....I recently bought a 2013 maverick xrs that has an issue with the fan....it will come on when needed for 2 or 3 cycles, and then not come on at all....turning the switch off and back on doesn't help....it will get so hot, it goes into limp mode....after it sits and cools down, it's the same process over again....any ideas??? thanx, dk

Help troubleshoot lean

Hello Can am owners. I am in need of some help troubleshooting. I recently noticed that the rear of my Outlander has a slight lean. At first I thought it might be a weak spring because of its age, it is a 2009. But when I jack it up it levels out and one wheel apaears to be a little higher of the garage floor than the other. I am the second owner and both rear shocks look like they are OEM. I was going to take both shocks off and investigate further. Last year I had a dealer install a aftermarket axel on one side but I can't see that making any difference. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks.

30 inch tires

Hey guys, I just got my first can am a few months ago after having a brute force and a arctic cat 700. So i’m just getting into the world of brp. I got a 2015 outlander xt 800r and I’ve been working on setting it up for the serious mud there is around here. I had a set of 11x30 silverbacks around already so i got rims and put them on. But even with the trimming of the foot boards i’ve done already (pictured) and the pipe lift i put in, the tires still bite in the front at the top of the foot well if the suspension flexes even a bit.

The options i’ve seen are pretty much trim more, making the fender lip straight basically, and it will still probably rub, or getting HD springs to stiffen up the suspension and raise the quad, or get some XMR shocks to do the same and probably gain more height than the springs alone. What have you guys done to make 30s clear on yours?

I have a set of 28” mega mayhems also that clear better but the 30s plow through everything very well so i want to run them. Also a pic of when i first brought it home just because!
