Engine question

I bought a non running 2004 Trailblazer 250 and after getting it all apart it seems the issue is with the spindle that goes inside the engine from the oil pump. I planned to block it off but the dang thing won't come out. Any ideas?

Rear IRS suspension

I have a 2007 Sportsman 700. Recently I have gotten a slight lean in one of my tires. In checking I have a little play in the A Arm. Here is my question. Should I replace bushing only or get a complete kit with new rods, nuts and bolts etc. In a visual inspection they seen fine. Thanks

What kind of helmet for UTVs?

I am a newbie ATV/UTV rider. I thought it was tough deciding on a UTV...will buy a Maverick Trail DPS 1000. I will use this UTV for hunting and general trail riding...not much racing? I have been all over the "what's the best helmet?" sites but most sites are talking about motorcycle helmets and very few talk about ATV/UTVs. I've looked at the different styles, advantages etc but need help with what UTVers use. Thank you for your thoughtful input!

Full exhaust

I'm looking for a full exhaust system with an O2 sensor for my 2017 sportsman 850 but can't seem to find one. Any recomendations?

OEM Clutch Lock Up Mod (Details Inside)

Hey Everyone,

So this winter I sold basically all the aftermarket parts on my XMR 800 to a fellow rider except for my Power Commander V and my Straightline Exhaust. The plan was to move to a new Can-Am but I've pushed that off till later this year. So that means I sold my CVTech clutch and secondary springs as well.

So I decided I would go the budget route and see just how much performance I can squeeze from the factory clutches.

Issue #1 is the non locked sheaves on the Renegade/Outlander Primary Clutch. Can-Am Turbo Maverick clutches are still very expensive on e-bay but come with the locked sheaves from the factory. So instead I'm going to send my stock Outlander clutch to UATV-tech.com to have the modification done by them. For $225(US) it turns my Outlander clutch into the Turbo Maverick clutch.

https://uatv-tech.com/products/100-o...odification-us

Issue #2 is that the 800 XMR comes with the same identical clutch set-up to the standard Outlander. Same springs, weights, and helix. The only difference is the 800 XMR receives the 650 Transmission. So because I wanted to keep this budget I looked for BRP weights I could use to get the shiftout to where I need it. So I will be going with the Renegade 800 clutch weights which have a better profile and a lighter weight. Right now my shift out is 6600-6700rpm.

Issue #3 is that because of the tall 30" tires the XMR comes with the clutch is often far too slow on back shifting. I'm going to correct this by using a 650 Helix and keeping the stock 800 XMR Spring. This should significantly improve back shifting and keep the revs up higher.

The idea of these modifications was to improve the clutching without buying a new primary. If someone sourced the weights and helix used this mod could be done for significantly less then a new primary.

I'll update everyone with a video on the channel once I've received the clutch and parts.
