Tried searching, stator output

I’ll be picking up the 2003 or 4 500ho this week. I have an extra 24” led light bar and two cubes. I think I just wanna use the two cubes on the Polaris and save the light bar for my headache rack on my truck. Anyhow, will the factory stator produce enough to run the led cubes (wired as one) without issue? If not what are my options if any

Quad won’t start in cold

Hey guys just had a question. I have a 2014 Polaris 850 twin efi. Starts fine in warm weather but when it gets cold I can't get it to start. All I hear is the starting selenoid clicking. I hit it with the pressure washer and some warm water and it fired up fine? Is it possible to have water in there somewhere that's freezing? Pissing me off!!

Drive belt

So....I have been told buy a used parts guy that a 2000 sportsman 500 with ebs and a 2002 sportsman 700 with ebs use the same drive belt. Part number 3211069. Is this correct?

Sportsman 90 CDI problem

I have an 07 Sportman 90 that has run perfectly since the day I bought it new. The kids grew up and I sold it, to my nephew. I rolled it out of the truck, started it, and his boy rode it off. After about 100' it had problems. It idles fine, but any throttle just bogs it down and it chugs along, barely. I cleaned the carb, replaced the jets and no change. I took it to the dealer and they had no answers. I bought a new CDI box, but the one that came was for a CRF 50F. But it has the same part number, wierd. Anyway, I put it on and it does roughly the same thing. But any throttle at all and it dies instantly. Putting on the old CDI produces the same results, giving it throttle bogs it down, but doesn't kill the motor. Could it be anything else? Any way to test it?

Snorkle everything or Just Airbox?

I just purchansed a 09 550xp sportsman. It will be new to me as I have always owned Honda and currently have a Rincon 680. I am new here and I have done some searching also. I don't really want to cut up my box on top nor do i want to put holes in the fenders. But I have a snorkle on my Rincon now and Like having it as insurance. We trail ride and there is mud and water but I don't ride up to the handle bars ever. What are my options? I have made my own before. Do i really need to do the belts? I am more concerned about water in the engine.

Thanks

Rear Steer Ranger: Modded Mondays

We bet they get some strange looks when driving sideways.

We’ve seen a few UTVs equipped with rear steering over the year,s but not many. One of the first we ever ran across was this Polaris Ranger built by Tony’s Toys way back at the 2011 High Lifter Mud Nationals. We can think of all sorts of places this would come in handy!

Sometimes I get into more mud than usual...(mostly on purpose)... and I've overheated my bike before. I clogged the radiator full of mud and had to end the day early and limp back to camp. I'm not interested in a radiator relocate kit and figured this might come in handy for other uses besides keeping me running on the trail. Install was basic and not difficult. I have a weatherproof power disconnect located underneath the front cargo box. Hope this gets y'alls creative juices flowing.

small dual light bar install help

Hi Folks,

I purchased a PAIR of 6" Miady 12v, 18w flood lights and they came with a simple toggle switch. No relay or fuse. Do I just twist power on each together, run to a fuse, run to a switch and then to the battery...then connect grounds? If so, what size fuse? I have a 2002 sportsman 90 for the kids and want to pop a couple lights on. Can I just tap the ignition wire in the "headlight pod"?

Here's a link to what I bought: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Thanks!
