Polaris Sportsman 570 Winch

Hi all,
I’m new to this atv game and I’m chasing a good but well priced winch for my Sportsman 570. It will mainly just be on the sportsman in case of an emergency. I will mainly be using the Sportsman for hunting and some 4x4!
Thank You in advance 😊

Polaris Sportsman 570 Winch

Hi all,
I’m new to this atv game and I’m chasing a good but well priced winch for my Sportsman 570. It will mainly just be on the sportsman in case of an emergency. I will mainly be using the Sportsman for hunting, towing a tinny and some 4x4!
Thank You in advance 😊

New 650

Just ditched the Honda's and went for a 17 650 left over. Got a really good deal on a DPS and added the xt bumpers on. Installed my warn winch (what a pain in the ass this stuff was to install)

I'm 30 from Nova Scotia, bought my first wheeler at 15 (Yamaha warrior) moved onto a drz 400 at 18, then a ktm 200 (still own) and a 583 gt ski doo (still own) ditched the Honda 420 this year after being converted.

Two friends got new can ams last year, one stores his in my garage, and that was the end of it for me, not even close to the same experiance to go out riding. Traveling at snowmobile speeds covering double the distance of the old wheelers and without beating the shit out of your self to do it. Now 5 of us have can ams lol.

28″ zillas on sportsman

Anyone running 28" zillas on their Sportsmans? Found a set on kijiji for cheap that I might end up picking up, was ganna buy bearclaws come spring but for the price of these I can't go wrong. Just wondering how everyone feels about the 28s on their bikes if they rob much power and how they perform, I've got 14" rims as well, it'll be going on a sportsman sp 570. If you've got pics post em up! Thanks guys!

2008 Outlander 500 XT Value

I'm looking at buying a 2008 500 XT with a little over 2000 miles on it. It's in decent condition with a little TLC needed.
What would you folks think a 4x4 like that is worth?

Thanks in advance for your comments

FUN with carburetor on Quest 650

I had a bad fuel pump which was replaced by a local dealer here in the Twin Cities.
The ATV has been running well. The problem has been the Quest is getting terrible gas mileage. I rode about 35-40 miles in 40 degree weather averaging about 20-25 MPH and I used 8-9 gallons of gas.

This seems really poor.

I noticed after one of these rides that I was dripping out of the bottom of the engine. I thought it might be water left over from cleaning. It was gas. So I spent some time looking at this... The carburetor is new. Supposedly it was adjusted when the fuel pump was installed, right? NOPE. The dealer didn't do anything here.

I took the carb off, and measured the floats. They are about 3 MMs+ higher than spec. This matched what I saw when I measured the original carb as well. It should be about 1 CM. I am not sure why the dealer didn't notice this? It seems pretty bad.

I carefully adjusted the float tab and measured the height on both sides. It is within spec. I put everything back together and I got: The same or more gas coming out of the overflow! DAMN.

How is this even possible?

NEW fuel pump, NEW carb and NEW fuel filter and the floats are in spec and they are leaking more. This doesn't seem possible. It does seem like even more gas is leaking than before. It has to be the floats. The carb is new and everything is clean. The pin is seated and not sticking. The diaphram looks fine as well.

Now I am tempted to put the original carb back in place. I have cleaned it at this point and it's ready to go.

Carburetor experts please chime in with your thoughts. Thanks.

Newbie Here!

Maintained a Trailblazer 250 for my son and wife for years and wanted more power for them so I found a 98 Sport 400. Same bike, only different? The Sport was built for Dunes and some things not right so I came here to learn more about Mods and dialing things in. There are model specific forums here, but none for the Sport. Do I post under Trailblazer?

How much fuel is left when the gauge flashes?

Does anybody know how much fuel you have left in your tank when the fuel gauge starts to flash? I’m specifically referring to a 2015 sportsman 570. On a recent ride I got about 20 miles after it started to flash I never ran out of fuel.

07 sportsman 500 not running right

My atv will crank up and idle like normal (1180-2000 rpm) then all of a sudden I will cutoff. So when I cleaned it i accidentally left my radio on overnight so the battery died. It backfired when I tried to pull it off. So I charged it thinking that would fix my problem but no. It almost seems like it's not getting enough fuel because if I hit the gas it'll cut right off. I tried to take the top off of the air box but when I do that it won't idle near as long as it would with it on. Any ideas? Thanks
