What lug nuts? HELP

Can you tell me what lug nuts I would need to purchase? I just purchased new 12x7 black hurricane wheels for my 2018 sportsman 450. I would like to go with black lug nuts. I ordered some from Rocky mtn atv in 3/8x24 with 14mm heads. I talked to them and they said these would not fit the wheels, that I would need the tapered spline but I'm not finding these anywhere. Do I need to go with 10mm head or 12mm head? I'm confused :/

Tires/Rims Questions

I recently read the post about what the biggest tires you could fit on a stock Polaris 570 2016(which is what I have) was, but have a few more questions. I would like to put 14 inch Alloy Wheels with 4+3 offset with 27 inch Mega Mayhems on them. Would this work on my stock polaris, or should I put a 2 inch lift on it? And with the lift would I have to get better axles to hold the bind or would stock still work alright? I'm new to messing with tires and stuff but the stock tires just aren't doing it for me anymore. Thank you!

1999 traxter 500 no power to dash panel

Looking for help I have gone back and forth with this and can't seem to get a finger on it when I jiggle the key I could get it to flash and i do t get any power to and gear indicator or warning lights since I have taken all the plastics off and replaced all the fuses none are blowing either I started at the Odom and I'm not getting power to it so I took everything apart and figured it might be the mpem so I went to look for one low and behold they don't have any for my bike discontinued after a week I went back second guessing my self I out the computer back in the bike plugged everything up and it was working I started to put the bike togethers and noticed I needed new shocks so when I took the front plastics off it and just wanted to try it again it went right back to a flash and now I can't get anything I tried testing the plug in the back of the Speedo have no power so I traced the the pink wire to the speed sensor I have power to the sensor but nothing out so dose that mean that the pink wire will only get power when moving to power the Speedo? So I started again playing and I hooked my test light to the positive termanl and hit all the wires in the plug to the Speedo and all of them would light up like every wire was grounded coming to that plug so would that be do to the mpem tripping internally if they do im not sure reminding you the fuse is still good to it Iany one who had any problems like this before any advice or hints would be great

Sorry for long post and if it don't make sense

Wanted to buy a new Outlander 450 but they are off the market now

I just got back from the local dealer where I had gone to buy a new Outlander 450 and after looking at the one I wanted, the salesman came back and said they couldn't sell any because BRP has removed them from the market due to steering issues. I was trying to take advantage of the sale price on the 2017 models but guess I've lost that.

I called BRP to ask them if the sale price would be in effect once the problem was solved and they would not give me an answer.

Guess it's "so long" BRP - Wish I wasn't saying that but I'm not going to be able to own one.

New member looking at first outlander & recommendations?

I have been on a 700 Grizzlys the last two seasons. They are sold and now looking for a 2 up atv to haul girlfriend maybe 20% of time.

I am looking at a 2016 Max XT 850 with 600 miles on it locally for $9K even.
Is this a decent buy or should I keep looking? There are not many to choose from near me unless I go to a dealer.
Thanks in advance.

Ready to explore

Good day all,

New to the Canam world. Just put a deposit down on a '18 XTP 850 (wife's) and a '18 XTP Max 850 (mine). Hoping to have them buy the end of Feb. These are our first atv's to own. Both of us are really looking forward to getting out and exploring the country. Plans are to go all over the country (CO, AZ, UT, SD and many other places) and see everything we can.

Happy trails...maybe I'll come across some of you sometime...

This rear grab bar came about our of necessity, we were sick of trying to move machines around and having nothing to grab onto. This rear grab bar solves multiple problems. First you can now easily move the back of the machine with the large diameter tubes. Also, the mounts have tie down points for help securing gear on the rear rack. Lastly, it functions as a rear bumper to protect the lights and exhaust from damage. Oh, and it looks great too! And made in the USA!

found in engine!

A few weeks ago, I bought a 2000 magnum 500 with what was described as a seized engine.

I got around to tearing the engine down today and found out what the problem was.

When I split the case open, 2 bolts fell out from in the case that were either left in there, dropped in by mistake or they came off something inside that I can't pinpoint.

Does anyone recognize these bolts as being a part of anything in the engine?
I can't see anything they would have belonged to and they don't look like any of the other bolts.

13-14 Scrambler 850 and a 15 Scrambler 1000

Can anyone shed any light on this:
Looking at some a arm guards for the Scrambler 1000 and I came across a set that I like but they are called out to fit a 13-14 Scrambler 850. What is the difference between the two with regards to a arms?
