Insurance

I am looking for some help with insurance. I am buying a new unit this spring and going to insure it, do any of you have recommendations in what kind of insurance to look for, good companies to work with or ones to avoid?

Like with auto insurance there are components:
Liability if you damage someones property or hurt someone else.
Comprehensive to replace your vehicle in case its stolen, vandalized, damaged by fire...
Collision to repair your vehicle if it is damaged in an accident.
Medical to pay for if you are injured.

Does the same apply for ATV's? Are there special waivers or coverage's a person should look for?
What about if you dump your quad in a lake or stream, is that covered? I know in some cases if you drive a car on ice and it breaks through or you intentionally drive into a stream and gets flooded you are S.O.L. does the same hold true for ATV's?

Sorry if this seems like a dumb question, just want to know what to ask for before I talk to an agent.

Thank you

Tire upgrade

Hi Everyone,

I'm new to this forum.

I have a new 17 - 650 XT, I had a 2010 800XTP before and kept the wheels & rims, 27x11-14 & 27x9-14 Swamplites, Do i have to do anything to the stock clutch to run these ? Thanks in advance.

RAlly 200 tool question.

good day, i am currently fixing an old 2003 rally 200 for my father. I do not have access to special bombardier tooling, and was wondering if somebody would have the thread pitch/type for the special tool # 529 035 883 , it is actually the bolt that comes in the magneto puller PN 529 035 748.

tried searching the forum without chance! thank you very much!

Looking for new tires

I'm interested in getting some new tires, however I am not sure what my best options are. I have a 2008 500, and factory rims. Can anyone give me some ideas that would fit my wheeler, I was hoping to squeeze some 27s on there

28 or 30 zillas

Any feedback on which size I should go on my 2018 xp1000. There is no lift and I will run them on stock rims. Not sure if the 30s will fit, or which size will suit me better. I run mostly on logging and skid trails, hill climbs in the brush, some mud but nothing like snorkel mud bogging, high speed (20-40) soft and hard pack. Any feedback would be great. I have a qsc clutch kit from rvs waiting to go in

Speedometer indictating wrong gear

I have a 2011 sportsman 800 efi.The speedo only indicates L and H and the 4X4 indicator is on no matter what gear it's in.I have replaced the gear position switch with a new one. There are no codes that show up on the speedo and I took it to the dealer and had it put on the digital wrench and no codes showed up.Any ideas, could it be a bad speedo? The dealer said that wouldn't show up as a code.I've jumped the wires on the plug at the position switch and it still will only read L and H.I don't what to buy a speedo if I don't have to,and I don't know anyone I could switch with to see if that's the problem. Thanks for any help PS I've also checked the resistance at the resistor module.

Finally decided to join

Hi Guys,

I've been "creeping" on this forum for about a year now, so I figured it was time to join. I ended up buying a 2016 Polaris 570 Sportsman Touring EPS in white. I absolutely love it, more so in fact then my 2002 Husberg 501 that I had as my last off-road vehicle.

A lot of the research I did before I bought my Sportsman was on this forum so thank you!
