Just getting back into ATV’s with a Polaris Sportsman 570SP. Looking forward to riding again.
Shift on the fly 4WD?
Can the electrical 4WD/2WD drive switched be used while moving at slow speeds with no problem. I don't want to tear anything up. I am just switching from a Polaris machine to a Can Am machine and was just curious. At the dealership, two people have given me different answers.
Tether kill switch?
Hi all, I was wondering what brand/type of tether works for a renegade, I need to get one to run some harescrambles this summer. Thanks in advance!

2005 Polaris Ranger xp 700 4×4
I recently purchased a 2005 Polaris Ranger xp 700 and went to change the front diff, rear diff, oil and transmission fluid. The transmission and rear diff are two (2) separate units on this UTV. All went as expected except the rear diff. fluid. The book and the shop both said to use angle drive fluid and I have no problem with that. However, the shop said that the rear diff. takes 18 oz . of fluid yet some forums on the net say that the rear diff. takes 34 ounces of Angle Drive Fluid. 34 ounces would make since seeing as how the fluid does not start running out of the fill hole in the rear chunk until 34 oz is put in it. 18 ounces seems very low. The shop said that it was impossible to put more than 18 oz. in the rear chunk, however, I know that I can- I just did it yesterday. They explained that I must be putting it in the wrong place, but I showed them a picture of where I put it and they said "yep, that's where you put it."
So question is, is it 34 oz. or 18. If 18 ounces it does not meet the bottom of the threads in the fill hole. I hope I have explained what is going on here well enough.

Steeeing Rack Issues
Hey everybody. Today in an instant my steering rack started to make noise and it’s got some play now. Looking at the small shaft on top while turning it moves that shaft up and down a little. I can also grab the Ujoint above the rack and wiggle the shaft in any direction. Almost like it fell out of its seat in the rack. No hard binding or loss of steering radius. It was fine last night when I rolled it in....then it dies this today. It’s not even a year old with only 529 miles on it. This isn’t a play toy. I don’t bash it at all. All those miles are mostly dirt roads and flat paths around the property. My warranty went out in October. The part is in $300 range. Also not sure how easy it is to pull off. Looks like it’s gotta drop an inch to clear the steering shaft and it’s right on top of the diff. Has anyone had this problem? I’d love for the dealer to cover it, it so new and babied. But I imagine that won’t be easy to do. Any thoughts folks?
Intro.. lol
I own a 06 Can Am Outlander 800 and a 2014 Spyder Rs-s. Love Can Am. I am going to buy a Commander limited soon. I am look now.
Extended warranty company’s
Has anyone had a good extended warranty company? I am need of one please.
Older commander with air ride or new commander with fox socks?
I always wanted a command 1000 limited with air ride. I think it would be very handy to change your suspension on the fly. It’s been hard to find a used good machine. Anyone’s thoughts on this? Has anyone owned a air ride and went to a newer commander that does not have air ride?
