AMSOIL Snowshoe GNCC Women’s Race Report

On the weekend of June 23 and 24, the ninth round of the 2018 AMSOIL Grand National Cross Country (GNCC) Series, an AMA National Championship took place at the Snowshoe Mountain Resort. Snowshoe is one of the more gnarly races on the GNCC circuit, as well as one of the toughest courses in the country. In a throwback to the famed Blackwater 100, the start is a live-engine downhill start on the main street of Snowshoe village.

Kailub Russell Takes Home 12th Annual AMSOIL Snowshoe Win

The 12th Annual AMSOIL Snowshoe GNCC took place Sunday, June 24 as round nine of the 2018 AMSOIL Grand National Cross Country (GNCC) Series, an AMA National Championship. After an abundance of rain showers fell throughout the weekend, the rough and rugged conditions created grueling track that lived up to the nickname of “America’s Toughest Race.” When the checkered flag flew after three hours of intense racing it was FMF/KTM Factory Racing’s Kailub Russell taking home the coveted win.

Chris Borich Conquers Snowshoe Mountain For First Win of 2018 Season

The AMSOIL Snowshoe event is one of the most anticipated rounds of the AMSOIL Grand National Cross Country (GNCC) Series, an AMA National Championship, and this year it was no different. This event is a tribute race dedicated to the infamous and legendary Blackwater 100 as it honors that historical race each year. With an abundance of rainfall prior to the race, and on-and-off showers through the race, the GNCC ATV riders would try and conquer a very wet and treacherous mountain.
