Knocking noise and shifting question

I recently bought a new 2018. Sportsman 450 (has 16 hours on it now). I went out and started it today to keep the battery up and when it started it had a knocking noise. I gave it a little light throttle and it immediately went away. It had never done this before and has not done it again. What does everyone think that could have been. Of course it's under warranty, but I was just curious and didn't want to ride it and mess anything up.

Also, I wanted to ask if it is ok to shift from low to high while riding or moving. I felt that I should not shift from high to low, but didn't know if you could shift from low to high. I am new to atvs and have been coming to a complete stop to do ANY shifting. Thanks much everyone.

2014 xmr maverick suspension

I just picked up a Can am maverick xmr with the infamous air ride suspension.

Found an air leak in the feed hose into the compressor. Assuming the compressor is fried. Tried to run 12v to the compressor to see if it would turn on (compressor will never boot up)

Looking for a new compressor or deleting the system.

Or add the valves and manually fill?

What are the best suspension options to swap out the air ride? Anyone selling?

Looking for good ride height to avoid rocks and stumps.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Active Descent Control capability

I'm looking at purchasing a 2018 Polaris Sportsman 850 SP, which weighs app. 800 lbs. My property is very hilly, so the Active Descent Control is of particular interest. I tow a 500 lb brush mower around my property. The 850 SP has an Unbraked Trailer Towing Capacity of 1914 lbs, according to the owner's manual. Will the Active Descent Control be adequate, on relatively steep hills, to control the machine and a 500lb mower being towed behind it? Or should I be looking at something like the Polaris Ranger, for the additional weight it has?

I'm currently towing the brush mower with a Suzuki King Quad 500Axi, which simply has braking power (no engine braking) to control downhills, and I've had some scary trips as the brush mower began 'pushing' the machine down the hill.

All help appreciated! I *really* don't want to buy a $10k machine that doesn’t do the onme thing I most want to do with it!

Rear passenger seat

I don’t like to assume things in life but I’m going to assume that there has to be such an accessory for the 570. I see plenty of rear passenger seat/cargo boxes combinations for atvs with standard racks but where can I find a nice passenger seat that will fit on my Sportsman 570? I just want my son to be able to go out and explore trails with me from time to time.

Pros and Cons to Spacers

So I have a Sportsman 570 that I put in the mud and I am thinking about spacers. I know they will give me a wider stance and help me bite the sides of the ruts, but what other benefits would I get? Also what kinda added stress does this add?lastly how big of spacers should I run? Bike has 28" mid-lites 10" wide up front 12" wide out back.

Outlander rack color

Hi guys, I have a 2018 outlander xt 650. The front and rear brush guards are orange in color. My rear brush guard rubbed on my ramp on my trailer and scuffed off some of the paint. I was wondering to see if anyone knew where I could get some paint to match the factory color. Thanks

I own a 2018 renegade xmr 1000 and I'm considering relocating the radiator. My question to everyone is what are the pros and cons, if any.
